This is what we mean when we say Re-Union.
🌈🫰🏼🪩
Year five, and babes this might have been the best, juiciest, and most magical one yet! Every year it just keeps getting better and better.

Re-Union has always been more than a Festival, it’s a space intentionally built to amplify queer joy, underground sound, and community care. Curated by FLINTA+ forward and queer artists, this event is made for you to fully embrace yourself and shine unapologetically.

And hunnies, this year’s lineup carried that intention beautifully. The diversity of DJs reflected the core vision: uplifting marginalized voices, platforming women and gender expansive artists, and challenging industry norms with every set. 24HRs of top shelf music that definitely had us all shakin ass.

Re-Union isn’t just about the music. From world class performance art and spicy showcases, to interactive installations and workshops that nourish + educate, every layer of the weekend is thoughtfully designed to invite participation, reflection, and connection. This is a dynamic ecosystem of delicious experiences.

As a queer-centered space, Re-Union has always been about visibility, safety, and celebration, not as an afterthought, but as the foundation. To see that energy held, respected, and returned across every part of the weekend meant everything.

However, what really makes this such an incredible experience is you, the people. The ones who show up with openness, respect, and care for each other. The ones who dance hard, listen deeply, share space generously, and help shape the weekend into something extraordinary.
Y’all are the real headliners. We are so grateful for each one of you being a part of Re-Union.

To everyone who shared their energy, their art, and their presence…thank you.
Thank you for trusting us and for trusting each other. That trust is what makes this event so dang special.

Five years in, and this still feels like a love letter to community.

We cannot wait to reunite with you May Long 2027.

With love,
Xo Re-Union

For our 4th episode, we have a special vinyl mix by two of Vancouver’s top notch selectors and producers @lordloubbit and @walterwack999 - It’s ALL GAS and no brakes when this power duo gets behind the decks and commands the dance floor like no other ⛽️🔥 IYKYK! Photo of the duo by @dave.ladner

Lord Loubbit and Walter Wack represent the bush rave energies from the Pacific NorthWest and channel that energy into unpredictable soundscapes. As music fans first and DJ/producer second, they consistently show why people shouldn’t “judge a book by its cover” through eclectic selections and an affinity for wild and weird sounds.

With releases across various local labels as well as self releases, the two endlessly search to discover things that fosters an environment on the dancefloor to allow individuals to connect to the sounds and emotions of the music. Subverting your rhythmic expectations, the sets are dynamic and fitting for any time of the day and night, from sunrise to sunset and everything in-between. Whether it’s in the middle of a smoky warehouse at 2am or dew-laden mornings in the forest, Lord Loubbit and Walter Wack channel the feelings of the environment and translate those sentiments into engaging moments for the willing and curious listeners.

When they’re not behind the decks or daw, they enjoy digging for new records, eating good food, and hanging out with their cats, Q-Tip and Wedgie (pictured here) 🐾

This past few days was absolutely amazing. There were so many talented DJs and other performers that it’s quite unbelievable it could all fit into a single weekend. I’ve never had a better time dancing for 24 hours straight with a camera in each hand, and each moment away from the sound system invariably led to a beautiful conversation

moments of togetherness in a sea of darkness 🌱 The delicate strings that hold us together when nothing else can: music and community 🫀

🩸 The people of Iran are still living under a filthy regime occupying the country, which is still mass executing innocent people, still killing our people under torture, still enforcing the internet blackout for 90 million people (over 1000 hours now) 🚨 47 years of destroying our homeland and making generations of Iranian people bleed.

Thank you to the @lets.touch.base fam🫀 and those who have been uplifting our community. we see and appreciate you.

Make sure to check out @arannmo and @_mikubat ‘s sets on the channel too. Their selections always inspire me and make me want to dig deeper 🎶🧚🏼
