SAIBC 2026 🤍💫

I leave @saiballetcomp this year immensely grateful and inspired ❤️

I was humbled to receive the Denise Schultze-Godfrey award for best female dancer, in honour of an incredibly inspiring South African woman. 🤍

I am also grateful to have received gold for my senior classical repertoire solo, silver for my senior contemporary solo, and a scholarship from jury member @lorelei_bari 🩷

The hugest thank you goes as always to my amazing @carstensireland.balletschool family!! Nothing is possible without my teachers @tashiireland @anya_lee_segal @angrevie @lianelurie 🌟

Finally, thank you to @saiballetcomp @baddirk for such an amazing platform to share the art of ballet in South Africa 🇿🇦

This year's competition was an incredible way to end my 5-year journey at SAIBC. From performing en pointe for the first time ever in 2022 as Princess Florine; to being awarded gold for my classical repertoire solo this year - I'm endlessly grateful for the growth I've experienced over these five years, as well as for every amazing person I've been privileged to meet and dance alongside ❤️

I am filled with gratitude and, to be honest, still a little overwhelmed by everything—I’m truly still processing it all! But I just wanted to share my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who helped and supported me, from the late nights at the studio to the cries backstage. I’m so grateful to @baddirk for giving me and many others this platform @saiballetcomp to show our talent and hard work.To all my teachers who prepared me mentally and physically for this competition, I can only say thank you: @angrevie, @mariogaglione95, @arielhmejica, and Teacher Ayren who was supporting me from Joburg. To all my friends and family who cheered me on in the quieter moments, I’m truly blessed to have you in my life. And of course, to my pas de deux partner @ofentse_bolewang, I’m so proud of you! I can’t wait to see what the future holds, and I can’t wait for the next chapter to come 💕 sincerely thank you all !! @saballetmag
