a love letter to Gainesville and my time at the University of Florida 💌

I can’t put into words how much these years have meant to me. 4 years ago, I stepped foot onto campus not knowing anyone and taking a leap of faith by moving away, starting college, and being a student-manager for Gators Gymnastics. What I didn’t realize at the time was that that step was the beginning of the BEST years of my life. Gainesville has given me something I never could’ve imagined: family. Through the gymnastics team, Big Monday, the community, and the University I have gained brothers, sisters, mentors, and best friends for life. These are people who have challenged me to become the best version of myself in every way and walked alongside me in my faith journey and every step of life. Although leaving Gainesville is bittersweet, I leave full of memories, experiences, friends, and a relationship with Christ that can never be taken away. I can’t help but be so upset to leave a place that left the longest impression on me in such a few years. Thank you GatorsGym and UF, see you again soon💙🐊

The curtains closed on the 2026 Beam Queen, Winter Gardens, Florida today May 8, 2026. Special thanks to Beam Queen Boot Camp for conducting another Camp at Winter Gardens, GUSA. It was a wonderful way to start the Summer. I met new friends, socialized with old friends, learned new Beam Skills and techniques, learned some nutrition tips, got some tips about beam scoring and confidence training, learnt a new choreography, did a photo shoot .Oh and I was named Beam Queen Supreme. It was so much fun and I learned alot. Special thanks to Sam (founder) and all the coaches including Isis (who fabulously led the event with true Queen energy) and together all made this event so special.
