Students had the opportunity to hear from Angelo Hronis and Karl Kaufman from The Foundation at Cleveland Cavaliers today. They shared insight on the culture and growth within the organization’s top notch sales develop program. They were also transparent with students that sales isn’t for everyone but if it’s for you the Cavs are a great place for a long term career. Thank you for making the trip to Orlando to meet with our students! taken in University of Central Florida by @ucfdevos_sbm

For Nate Harvey, the lessons learned during his time in the DeVos program were just the beginning of a lifelong journey of growth.

In this week’s #AlumKnightSpotlight, Nate reflects on how hands-on events - from working NASCAR races and the Arnold Palmer Invitational to Hope for Stanley service trips in New Orleans - shaped his graduate experience. For Nate, culminating those efforts with the cohort trip to NYC not only celebrated lifelong friendships, but also solidified his drive to pursue a career in sports partnerships.

Now thriving in the sports marketing industry, Nate encourages young professionals to keep an open, curious mindset. He reminds us that earning a degree is just step one, and the real magic happens when you continue learning, adapting, and innovating every single day.

Today students from D’28 had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Richard Lapchick. A true trailblazer in racial equality and human rights his discussion today left the students with the question of how they each can make a difference in the world through sports. The program wouldn’t be here without him! Thank you as always for sharing your time and stories! by @ucfdevos_sbm
