POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s been a little while since I last posted, but there’s been plenty happening behind the scenes! 🔨💪

First things first… I’m officially a QUALIFIED CARPENTER! 🎉

After years of hard work, challenges, determination and a whole lot of learning, I’ve completed my apprenticeship and started an exciting new chapter with Taniko Constructions!

Going from a corporate career to picking up the tools as a mature-age female apprentice was one of the biggest decisions I’ve ever made, and I couldn’t be prouder of how far I’ve come.

Today was another special moment, having the opportunity to be a panelist at the Women in Trades event, sharing my journey, experiences and passion for encouraging more women to consider a career in the trades. Not to mention, sitting along side some incredibly talented women @louiseazzopardicoaching, @woofimakat & @aj161199 !! Wows!!

Being able to stand in front of others and talk about an industry that has completely changed my life is something I’ll never take for granted.

If my journey can inspire even one woman to step outside her comfort zone, challenge expectations and give something new a go, then it’s all been worth it.

New chapter. New opportunities. Same passion for building and breaking stereotypes.

And one thing hasn’t changed… Girls Can Too! 💪🔨

🎥 WOW We’re still not over it. 🥹🫶

10 October at @the_timberyard might just be the best awards night any of us have ever been to. 🎉

The tears on stage. The roar for every winner. Apprentices walking in wide-eyed and walking out believing they belong.

None of it happens without a team. Months of planning, late nights, and a crew who gave everything so every guest felt seen. 👀

And here’s our secret: we listen. Every piece of feedback from last year shaped this one. ☝️
Because the women in trades, and every human who backs them, deserve a night this good. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Thank you for being part of it. We’re already building 2027.

16 amazing women, one table, and the beginning of something pretty special!

Last night, 16 incredible women came together for our first @tradeswomen.penrith.connect 🎉

This event has been almost TWO YEARS in the making!

For nearly two years, Beth- @chickenchippybuilds and I (@louiseazzopardicoaching )have been talking about creating something for tradeswomen in Greater Western Sydney.

A space where we could come together, connect, share experiences, build friendships and grow our community.

Eventually, we decided to stop talking about it and just go for it!

We picked a date, organised a location and hoped people would show up. 😂

And they did! 🥹

What an amazing night of conversations, laughter, new connections and women supporting women.

One of the best parts of the night was hearing everyone asking "When's the next one?!"

Well, we've got you covered!

- Thursday 19 November 2026

- 6:00 pm

- Nepean Rowers Club, Penrith

Whether you're an apprentice, qualified tradeswoman, working in the industry or looking to get into a trade, we'd love to have you join us!

A massive thank you to everyone who came along and helped make our first event so special. ❤️

And Beth, after almost two years of talking about it, WE DID IT!

Here's to many more Tradeswomen Penrith Connect catch-ups!

Link in bio to register for November!

Tag a tradeswoman you'd love to bring along to the next one! 👇

Steel caps off, heels on 💙✨

Had the BEST time at the EWIT Gala Awards! Met so many amazing apprentices and women in trades, heard their stories and left with a very full heart… and approximately 47 new besties 😂

There’s something special about being in a room full of women who just get it. Different trades, different journeys, all cheering each other on. 🫶

Thank you @ewitrades for bringing us together and celebrating the incredible people in our industry. Already keen for the next one! 🥂⚡️ #ewit2026

The final countdown. The final hug. A bronze medal. A journey to remember. 🇦🇺🥉

As the crowd, Lachlan Wright's parents Dave and Amanda, and Australian supporters counted down the final seconds of the Heavy Vehicle Technology competition at WorldSkills International Competition Shanghai 2026, an extraordinary journey came rushing to the surface.

When the competition ended, Lachlan leapt over the barrier to embrace his parents, then returned to share the moment with his coach and mentor — me.

From Team Australia’s launch in Canberra through months of preparation, challenges and determination, the journey culminated in Shanghai, where Lachlan Wright won a hard-earned bronze medal for Australia in Skill 49 – Heavy Vehicle Technology. 🥉

Behind that medal are countless hours of work, unwavering family support, dedicated industry partners , our employers and a team that believed in Lachlan’s potential. Being part of this journey has been an immense privilege.

That final countdown marked more than the end of a competition. It was the culmination of a dream and a shared commitment — a journey we’ll remember for a lifetime.

Proud of you, Lachlan. Proud of Team Australia. Grateful to everyone who made this possible. 🇦🇺
