EYE OF MNEMOSYNE montage! Here is a visual montage from the full eight-movement multimedia orchestral work created with visual artist Deborah Johnson and commissioned by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra for its centennial season (performed here by Metropolis Ensemble, conducted by Andrew Cyr.) This clip is from Mvt. I: Prelude. 👁️ EYE OF MNEMOSYNE is a work about American memory, culture, and innovation. “A Vivid Blur” highlights the fluid and variable nature of visual experience, positioning contemporary artistic experimentation within a centuries-long dialogue between scientific discovery and aesthetic inquiry. Featuring a dozen artists, the exhibition includes neon, holography, plasma, projection, and analog photography, as well as intriguing installations that showcase the relationships between light, object, and environment. 🏮 On view at the SVA Chelsea Gallery through October 30. The Sun by @nebulahmusic and @uberort.studio is an immersive Visual Album set within a generative digital Danish biome.
