What a night at the This Can Happen Awards 🎉💙 The Beyond team were so pleased to be there celebrating some incredible people and their achievements.

A huge congratulations to @itsdylanholloway, who won Storyteller of the Year, and to Antonio Ferreira, who took home both the Grand Prix and Best Young Wellbeing Advocate awards and to @louiselyons_ for being shortlisted! It was also so special to see former Youth Board member @brady.isaacspearce perform on the night.

A big thank you to This Can Happen for such a brilliant ceremony and for creating space to recognise the people using their voices, stories and experiences to make a difference. We left feeling very proud!

Beyond headed to The Future of Work: A Gen Z Perspective by @synkoraconsulting on June 23. It was a powerful evening that brought together young professionals, leaders, and changemakers (or 'world changers' as @mimsyxo likes to say🔥) to explore what the future of work could and should look like.

Across the discussions, there was a clear sense that the future of work isn’t just something to anticipate, but something to actively shape. Key insights highlighted the importance of more inclusive and stable workplace cultures, the value of meaningful connections, and the urgency of creating environments where young people feel genuinely heard and supported.

What stood out most was the openness in the room, a shared belief that change is not only necessary, but already in motion, and the opportunity there is for more workplace leaders to better understand their Gen Z colleagues.

Gen Z is not lazy, they're driven. But the systems around them aren't ready for them to thrive.

Congratulations to @louiselyons_ @tanyamarwaha_ for an incredible evening!

What actually helps young people facing mental health challenges?

We asked @tanyamarwaha_ & @louiselyons_, mental wellbeing advocates and Co-Founders of @synkoraconsulting.

Their answer:
Your mental health is the foundation of everything. Before your goals, your hustle, your ambitions, it has to come first.

Lean into the support that’s available. Find your anchors. Know what pulls you back when you’re feeling low.

Because when you prioritise your wellbeing, everything else gets easier!

Follow us for more support on mindset, mental wellbeing, career development, and financial literacy.
