✨💝 EVERYTHING in its right place… 💒🎶 When Sierra unexpectedly called to say, “I know it’s last minute… and tickets are expensive…” I only had one response, “…WHEN?!” ✈️🌎

Wouldn’t have missed their fairy tale wedding for the world! 🎉✨🥂🍾 Sierra, I LOVE YOU to Andromeda and back! In all timelines. …You know this already. ❤️💫🌌 Sean, I LOVE that you roll deep with your ride-or-die Filipino crew. Which means… you’re fambam already! KAIN NA! 💖🍚🥘 So happy for you, Mahals! You’re both gems. 💎💎 Sending you two all the love, support & blessings as you build your life together. ✨🌱

🎸🖤🎙️ Come as you are, as you were… As I want you to be… 🎶 📸❤️‍🔥🔥 Once in a blue moon, I trade museum artifacts for mosh pits. What an EPIC night photographing MAJOR THREAT at the legendary Parkside Lounge — where these awesome bands tore through FUGAZI, BIKINI KILL, and of course, NIRVANA. ⚡🤘🖤 The city smel’t of TEEN SPIRIT that night, let me tell ya! ✨🌃 I loved the KILLER performances! 🙌 And reconnecting with ol’ friends (including Sarah Michaels, with whom I share a ridiculous matching black cat tattoo 🐈‍⬛ from when were BABIES), and dancing the night away to DJ Viva Ruiz. 💃🏼🪩 Thanks & LOVE ❤️ to @_jendm_, @ddoublevvirgo, all of the performers, and everyone who brought the noise — and @rachel.joy for bringing GLUTEN FREE CAKE, HECK YEA! 🍫🎂🫶 We’ve all evolved since the dawn of grunge. Hell, even NYC isn’t the same anymore. But great LIVE music? Rad friends? Fun adventures? And scarfing down eggs & hash browns at a greasy spoon w/ loves at 4 AM? 🍳 Some things never change… 🖤🌃 ROCK ON, REBEL GIRLS & PATIENT BOYS!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️🤘❤️‍🔥 Stay PUNK forever!! 📀📸 #RockPhotography #DocumentaryPhotography #NYClivebands #MeowMix #ParksideLounge

⚡️ ‘LIGHT AS MATERIAL’ class at @telepathy.nyc last night. OMG so fun!! 🤩 In 4th grade, my big science project was on PRISMS, light refractions & the color spectrum. So last night’s class unlocked long lost memories & fostered my rampant curiosity about light, colors and how the world works. 🌈✨🔑 Gratitude to excellent light artist Jonathan Sims @chromadetic for the hands-on experience, and sharing his knowledge & inspiration with us.💡👏🧐 LOVE your work! (Everyone, go take all his classes at Telepathy! 📺🎟️) Thanks also to VFX artist Matt St Leger @mstleger for coming along to play — and eat tacos while cycling backwards on CitiBikes. 🌮🚲 (A crossover life activity I didn’t know I needed. 🚴‍♀️🤔) It was such a great & inspiring night of Art as Play. Illuminating, to say the least. ✨✨✨ #lightsculpting #lightartists #lightart #lux #lettherebelight

Back when @JimMahfood drew us in the #SpiderVerse! 🕸️🖤 LOVE to Jim for immortalizing the photo crew… including the legendary Jeff SHAGAWAT, Akirophoto, Jane Dope & L.A. friends as paparazzi. 📸✨💃🏻 True Believers, if you haven’t seen SPIDER-MAN : Brand New Day, please go! 🎥🍿 It’s a great, heart wrenching movie 💔😭 — and a beautiful love letter to NYC. 🍎🗽 And while you’re at it, pick up Jim’s latest indie comic, ARACHNID ENFORCER in comic shops now. 💥🕷️🥷 Trust, it’s epic. Rock on, friendly neighborhood FoodOne! 🤘🖤☔️ …THWIP!! #spiderman #webofspiderman #JeffShagForever ❤️ #canonevent

“Art Work: Artists Working at The Met” (on view through Dec 1) features works by 640 staffers — from security guards and technicians, to engineers, conservators, and ticket-takers. I interviewed seven of these extraordinary humans about their art for the New York Post. Link in bio! Photos by @thewestisblue 1) @armia_malak_ senior security guard with his figurine inspired by his Egyptian heritage 2) @christopher_savidge storeroom specialist with his incredible mixed-media sculpture made with found wood, scraps of painted paper, and woven thread 3) @amarinakraemer operations assistant with her poetic tribute to her grandfather who taught her how to be an artist 4) @loveablan collections photographer with her photo collage featuring her beloved godmother, Concepcion, and grandmother, Victoria, celebrating their Filipino heritage 5) @amandarothschild business analyst who paints still-lifes of sinks and drains 6) @aleyalehmannstudio administrator in photo conservation who creates evocative portraits of women 7 & 8) Solomon Azaraev (who doesn’t have IG) - the sole member of Met’s masonry shop, at work at the museum, along with the truck he constructed on view in the show, based on a Chevy Silverado Thank you to the incredible comms team @metmuseum (particularly Meryl Cates) for helping set this up!!!
