"May your next man be your best man and your last man." This right here! I met my husband at 22, we didn't start dating, and get together until I was 23. What was I thinking?! To be honest, at that time I never dated anyone who was born in Africa, and who had dark skin.
.

I opened my heart, and closed my legs. Everything was closed. Gave him a chance, what do you know he proposed twice. I said yes, the second time, thank God! Built a friendship, strong foundation, and took my time. We are the best thing that has ever happened to each other. I am blessed beyond measure. Almost 16 years of friendship, 15 years of love, 14 years together, and this month we celebrated 11 years of marriage.
.

I would say 20-23 was a complete waste, accept one situation, it lasted two years, and he was basically my first. We learned so much from each other. He was not the one, just a season, and we good now. Not everyone you love, is meant to build a life with. We are both married with spouses with a parent from West Africa. What a coincidence, go figure. Get you one. My West African man is so rare. This Black man God made just for me. To be loved, challenged, learn, and grow with.
.

Riddle me this. Why do people get so upset or worked up over a post? If I did not say your name or a name who cares. Post are just a general statement. Get your $hit together, it really is not that serious. If it don't apply, let it fly. Move on, keep scrolling, let it go, and get out your feelings!
