A play cafe deserves a little story, specially one that breaks every rule of storytelling by saying “and then” repeatedly 😂 Not a lot of dilemma and conflict here, except between me and the sun, but I had my new @kyloeinthewild sunnies to deal with that! When Emma and I discussed her next window mural I sent her some examples of work I’d done in the last year. She fell for a colourful doodle window I created for @love.local so I adapted the idea to suit her brand. Pastel doodles of fairies and books and blooms and cupcakes and drinks and more flowers and the odd gnome and stars and swirls and a banana and a few space rockets and some happy words… all sorts of stories all over the windows! Thank you to Emma and Lee at @tinybloomplaycafe and @butterflyandbeebooks for commissioning me for their fifth window mural! See you for the Christmas window 😘 #windowartist #frinton #playcafe

The poppy display is up at Frinton Library. There is also a display inside the library and knitted poppies for sale. This has been made by the ladies who attend the Meet and Make craft session at the library and the Essex Knitters and Stitchers and has been a real community project as the library has received hundreds of donated poppies. It was lovely to hear such compliments today about our tribute for the Royal British Legion which supports our armed forces community. #royalbritishlegion #frintonpoppies #lovefrinton #essexlibraries #poppy #essexknitters&stitchers #craft #community
