🤎 A room full of women who GET IT.
There’s something pretty special about spending a day surrounded by mums who are building businesses while also raising families. Women who understand the juggle, the late nights, the big dreams, the self-doubt, the excitement… and why we choose to keep backing ourselves anyway.

The Mummy CEO Live @thebarnyarravalley @missfyffe was exactly that. Incredible speakers. @shani.chantel @lauragradyy @lovehally . Beautiful food @riseandbakebyelise @grazelnut.melbourne . Honest conversations. Lots of laughs and even a massage thrown in there too. Time spent connecting with women who are walking their own version of this crazy business journey.

Honestly, the most incredible part? My beautiful business coach, Mira @thisismiraclaudia created and hosted the entire event completely free, simply because she wanted to bring women together and give back.

I left with a very full heart, feeling inspired, content and incredibly grateful. Maybe most importantly, I left feeling even more certain about the decision I made to build Nappy Free in the first place: a business that allows me to support mums, families and little ones through a transition I care so deeply about.

Turns out, sometimes the person running the business needs their cup filled too. Loved spending time with my bestie @fitt_siss as Mums in biz too. Thank you, Mira. What a day.

Turns out going to a Mummy CEO LIVE event also means coming home with some new headshots like how lucky am I! But in all honesty, the photos were probably one of the smallest things I took away from Wednesday

Mummy CEO LIVE was so much more than just a business conference, it was 30+ women/mums, all running businesses, in one room in the Yarra Valley. Some I’d already spoken to online, most I’d never met before and somehow it felt like everyone was everyone’s biggest cheerleader.

Before the day even came I decided to step out of my comfort zone and pick up another mum on the way who I’d only ever chatted to briefly on Instagram. I basically said, we live semi-close, want to carpool? 😂
And I’m so glad I did, we clicked straight away. We spent the drive talking absolute shit, business and life, and now we’ve already decided we’re hanging out again. An unexpected little friendship from the day that I really didn’t see coming.

There were also some bloody incredible women speaking. Hally, Laura, Shani and of course Mira all brought something completely different to the day, but there were a few messages that really stuck with me -that confidence and competence are two very different things, that sometimes you have to back yourself before you feel completely ready, and that so often the stories we tell ourselves are the very things standing in our way. A lot of little reminders that I think I really needed to hear.

I found that there was something particularly powerful about hearing those conversations in a room full of mothers. Because becoming a mum doesn’t mean the ambitious part of you disappears.
I’ve definitely discovered this year that
👉🏽You can love being a mum AND want more for yourself
👉🏽 You are capable of building something
👉🏽 You can take risks
👉🏽 You can have big ideas
👉🏽 You can 💯 back yourself

We also did breathwork with Laura which, apparently I was absolutely not emotionally prepared for 😂 I cried. A lot. I’m still not entirely sure what came up, but clearly something needed to.

This was my first creative project with people working alongside me and it was the best afternoon!
Being amongst creatives, using our creativity to boost eachothers minds and get juicy in the art is the best feeling, it honestly leaves my running around like a lunatic. 😂

Happy International Women’s Day 🤍 Today I’m taking a moment to celebrate the incredible women who have shaped my life.

There is nothing more powerful than women who support each other. Not compete, compare, or tear each other down. The world already does enough of that for us.

Let’s keep lifting each other up, cheering each other on, and making space for each other to grow.

This year was a hard one. But one of the biggest silver linings has been my friendships 🥹🫶🏼 New friends, old friends, friends I found my way back to - thank you for the laughs, the voice notes, the gym dates, the hot girl walks, the nights out, the nights in, the therapy sessions, and the reminders that I wasn’t alone even when it felt like it.

If there’s one thing this year taught me, it’s to never underestimate the power of platonic love. Here’s to the girls who held me together in 2025 ❤️
