PRIDE in Greensboro may have come to a close, but at UMOJA CHURCH, our commitment to our queer and trans kindred continues.

We’re closing out the month of September with our final PRIDE iteration: PRIDE in Jesus.

Join us Sunday, September 27th at 9:30 a.m. for a powerful worship experience featuring Rev. Love Lemon, MDiv.

At UMOJA, PRIDE is more than a season. It is part of our ongoing commitment to build a church where queer and trans people are fully seen, affirmed, and loved, and where the needs of Black people and marginalized communities are taken seriously.

Join UMOJA CHURCH for a special Queer Word Service featuring Reverend Leslie Oliver.

On Sunday, September 13th at 10:00 a.m., we will gather virtually for a word rooted in liberation, affirmation, and the sacred worth of queer and trans kindred.

At UMOJA, we believe our faith requires more than tolerance. It calls us toward love, justice, belonging, and full inclusion.

We hope you will journey with us as we continue building a Black, progressive, and liberating faith community.

UMOJA CHURCH invites the community to join us for an important conversation on Black Church and Queer Inclusion.

On Wednesday, September 9th at 6:30 p.m., we will gather for a special screening and discussion centered on what it means for Black faith communities to move beyond welcome and toward full affirmation, belonging, and inclusion.

📍 111 Bain St, Greensboro, NC

Our faith calls us to love God and love our neighbor. That means creating churches where queer and trans kindred do not have to choose between their faith, their Blackness, and their full identity.

Greensboro, we’re calling the Black women of our city to gather with us this Sunday at UMOJA Church.

Our Women’s History Month theme is “When Black Women Rise, Justice Follows.” At UMOJA, we take seriously the leadership, wisdom, and spiritual contributions of Black women in ministry. Grounded in the spirit of Womanist theology, we believe the voices and visions of Black women are essential to the life of the church and the future of our communities.

Join us as we welcome Rev. Lové Lemon and create space for worship, fellowship, and visioning together.

Happy Black Business Month! August is Black Business Month and at Healing Heights, we honor the legacy, labor, and love that Black entrepreneurs pour into their communities every day. 🖤

Black businesses aren’t just businesses — they’re healing centers, cultural hubs, and acts of resistance. They feed us, clothe us, educate us, and remind us that liberation is possible.

When you support a Black-owned business, you’re investing in economic justiceand a future where our communities thrive on our own terms.

This month and every month, let’s buy Black, build Black, and bless Black. For Us By Us.

Today we want to thank @bygoodcoffee for sponsoring @lifeofacgweagle teachers returning with breakfast, please go out and support them just as much as they have supported us.

We honor Juneteenth not just as a date in history, but as a sacred vibration of liberation still echoing through our bodies. At Healing Heights, we don’t just celebrate freedom—we embody it. Through every song, every ritual, every circle of care, we remember: our healing is our inheritance. Our joy is our justice. And our rest is revolutionary. Happy Juneteenth!!!

This summer has been extremely interesting, intense, heartbreaking, fun, and enjoyable. This is to show the memories we’ve created and the bonds we’ve made. Authoring Action has given all of us as teen authors and staff an amazing experience. Love you all. All editing copyrights goes to myself.
