🎾🔥 LEARN. GROW. COACH. GIVE BACK. 🔥🎾 What an AMAZING morning at Cal State LA! 🦅💛 Our Intro to Coaching Career Day was about something at the heart of LoveSetMatch: when we help our volunteers grow, they can make an even bigger impact in the community ❤️ Our students and volunteers stepped onto the court ready to learn, challenge themselves, and become better educators and leaders. 🎾 Learn how to coach 🚀 Build real-world skills 🤝 Grow as a leader 💪 Gain confidence ❤️ Take what you learn and GIVE IT BACK to the community! That’s what LoveSetMatch is all about. We want to **invest in them, train them, help them discover their strengths, and give them opportunities to lead.** Huge thank you to Kevin Finkleberg, Mike Phillips, the Golden Eagle Tennis Club, USTA Coaching, our volunteers, and everyone who showed up ready to LEARN and SERVE! This is how we grow the community impact. This is how we grow leaders. I'm convinced Kevin Finkleberg has discovered the secret to being in three places at once. Every time there's a tennis event, coach education program, or community initiative, somehow Kevin is already there making it better. Kevin has been much more than a supporter. He's been a trusted friend and advocate for our coaches and programs. Through his encouragement and leadership, he's helping our volunteer coaches begin their coaching journeys, connect with the larger tennis community, and continue growing both on and off the court. His support of our recent 4th Annual AAPI Tennis Celebration at Cal State LA was another example of his commitment to growing the game in meaningful ways. When organizations like USTA Coaching invest in grassroots nonprofits, they're investing in the next generation of players, coaches, and community leaders. Kevin, thank you for your friendship, your guidance, and for believing that tennis has the power to change lives. We're grateful to have you as part of the LoveSetMatch family and excited for all that we'll continue to build together. #ThankYou #USTACoaching #LoveSetMatch #Coaching #CommunityLeadership #GrowTheGame #TennisForGood #STEMBasedTennis #VolunteerLeadership #Partnership #CommunityThroughTennis (USTA) United States Tennis Association USTA Southern California Community

Proud to support Love.Set.Match. on an event they’re hosting this weekend. Love.Set.Match. is a nonprofit that has been bringing tennis to East LA for six years, starting at a time when Founder Phillip Kim says racquet sports had almost no presence in the community. What sets them apart is how they teach. Every lesson is also a STEM lesson. Physics, math, and more, all taught through what’s happening on the court. Phillip shared that in East LA, roughly 70% of kids they serve are on track to not graduate high school, given limitations like their environment. Tennis is a vehicle for athleticism and discipline, but also learning.
