notes from a new chapter ✏️ had some sparkle sprinkled on the career path ✨ @schola.studio gracing me with a golden opportunity to step into education sitting somewhere between teaching & learning with a team that makes the whole thing extra magic ✨ in a space that feels like the happiest home 🪺 mindful movement gets the main character treatment …..and we never skip the snacks forever the student but turns out, teaching teachers makes you want to learn even more important admin break x still finding little pockets of calm amongst the chaos somewhere along the way, this became the most meaningful part of my career this work never really feels like work every moment with this lot ends up non-stop creasing while we lunge & learn straight up blesseddd with the best

4hrs in Dehli - a whirlwind of riotous colour, a never ending cacophony of honking cars, sweltering heat, throngs of weekend crowds, swooping black kites and magnificent historical relics. Between our flight back from Leh and our next one to Singapore, we only had time to visit Humayan’s Tomb - a 16th-century grand mausoleum built for the second Mughal Emperor, Humayun. Completed in 1570 and commissioned by his wife, the Empress Bega Begum, this monument, that also houses the graves of 150 other Mughal family members, served as the inspiration for the Taj Mahal, which would be built by his great-grandson decades later. The grounds which it sits on is also home to many other gardens & tombs, including an Afghan tomb of Isa Khan Niazi, built between 1547 - 1548, pre-dating Humayan’s Tomb by 20 years. It sits in the middle of India’s earliest known sunken gardens. The beautiful structure is a striking example of Lodi-style Afghan architecture, featuring a distinct octagonal shape, a central dome surrounded by ornamental canopies, and vibrant blue glazed tile work. As rushed and crowded as it was on a Sunday, I’m glad we managed to make time for this little excursion and I now have a huge India itch that needs to be scratched! @amaladestinations

What happens when a bunch of women from Singapore & the Phillipines take over the cold desert of Ladakh for ten days? You get a recipe for a grand adventure with a side of fashion, a lesson in solidarity, and some free ‘chismis’ (Filipino for gossip); a high-altitude party, no less! Traversing the Zanskar! All the chatter and chizmizzing, especially at mealtime. View (Sound on) Ladies of Ladakh - we could never stop yapping One last look at this view the morning after, before setting off for Day 2 of our rafting @indusrivercamp - you were an absolute dream of a stay Hand painted signs everywhere. Love The Border Roads Organisation in Ladakh truly has the best highway signs. To acclimatise ourselves to the altitude before our Sham Valley hike in Ladakh with @amaladestinations, we first spent two days in Leh at 3524m taking it real slow out of our base at @lementokwellnessresort - napping, eating well, and doing a bit of sightseeing at Thiksey Gompq. Resembling the Potala Palace in Tibet, this majestic and sprawling 15th century Tibetan Buddhist monastery spans 12 stories and sits on a hilltop overlooking the Indus Valley below. It just so happens that the Dalai Lama was also in Leh during this time so the city was abuzz with his devotees, many of whom had travelled from around the world just to gain a short audience with him. ✨ #ladiesinladakh #amaladestinations
