I had a delightfully wavy-brained conversation with a woman tending her garden in West Concord today. I was out on a walk and her garden stopped me in my tracks, so I had to share my compliments, which, unfortunately for her (and maybe for me), turned very quickly into an overshare that I’m pretty sure made her pause 🤣 And while she loved my compliments, she’s probably hoping we don’t run into each other again (🎈weeeeee💃🏼)

Appreciation post to all the love and support we have been getting. It hasn’t been very long since we started this journey. We are just about to launch our site and it feels surreal to think of everything that has happened to lead up to this point. We have so far to go but we just wanted to take a second to reflect on everything that has been done so far. So much love and learning. Thank you for the gifts, the time, the hard work, the feedback, the support and just for being there to lean on! There are way too many people to single out but you all know who you are. The ride has just begun and we have allot to do still. It gets a bit overwhelming to think about the future but having all of you here to help makes us very optimistic. ⭐️Sound Barre: High Energy Movement & Sound⭐️

Last night was truly special: Jen Walsh (@pulseflownourish) and I held our first-ever Sound Barre Experience: a 45-minute mat barre class and then a 45-minute sound bath followed by drinks and endless laughs at the local brewery. It was a perfect blend of movement, music, relaxation and connection. 🤸🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♀️

Thank you @pulseflownourish for collaborating with me to bring to life our vision for an ideal Friday Girls Night Out, and thank you to all the amazing women who carved out time on their busy calendars to be there for this event. Your energy was 🔥🔥🔥

We started the evening with an energizing 45-minute mat barre class led by Jen, powered by an uplifting @lincolnjesser playlist filled with vibrant rhythms, airy synths, and warm basslines designed to inspire, energize, and uplift. 🎶

The room was alive with positive vibes and high vibrations. I joked that this was - by far - the hottest nightclub in Acton (there aren’t any others 😉).

After the workout, we transitioned into a soothing 45-minute sound bath which I led. Lying comfortably, surrounded by crystal bowls, chimes, drums, and other calming instruments, participants were gently guided inward to relax, unwind, and reconnect. It was the perfect way to cool down and find a moment of deep peace at the end of a busy week. 🧘‍♀️

This combo of high-energy movement and tranquil sound healing created an unforgettable experience for both body and mind. To top it all off, we went next door to True West Brewery & Co. (@brewtruewest) for cocktails, mocktails and so much laughter. Just what we all didn’t know we needed. 💖

PS - another reason last night was truly special: @revolutioncommunityyoga is where I attended my very first sound journey led by @laurazakhackel, and I’ve been going to sound baths and barre classes there for 8 years. This studio holds so many memories for me, and I’m grateful to add this event to the list of those memories. Thank you @revolutioncommunityyoga! 🫶🏼

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and this is your reminder that it’s OK if the answer is:

- Hanging on by a thread
- Honestly? I don’t know…

You don’t need to have a perfect answer. But you do deserve a space to process it.

Ever said something simple to your ADHD teen — and it landed like a gut punch? This week’s #WaveCheck was sparked by a conversation with a parent client who’s navigating this exact thing.

RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria) is real for many ADHDers — and it can hit especially hard during the teen years.
It’s when the nervous system interprets perceived rejection as danger, and shuts everything down: conversations, connection, curiosity. Defense mode activated. 🙅🏼🙅🏾‍♂️🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️
