Denver architecture studio creating modern custom homes and remodels that prioritize natural light, material richness, and connection to the outdoors

Excited to see this Lakewood residence featured in the Fall 2026 issue of @modernindenver.

A thoughtful midcentury renovation by LTBa Architecture, with landscape architecture by Elevate By Design. The landscape brings together natural stone, layered plantings, and terraced outdoor spaces to complement the home’s architecture and connect it to its surroundings.

Grateful to have been part of this collaboration.

Some incredible moments captured for @ltb_arch and featured in @modernindenver. If you scroll to the first hot tub photo, the light wasn’t working that evening so I threw my phone inside a plastic bag and turned the flash light on and dunked it in. Turned out great!

“My Grandmother’s Skin”, 60x48”, oil and charcoal on panel. View of Dead Horse Point, UT, from my Colorado River show last year. I’ll show her again with the rest of that collection sometime but I think this belongs on that wall in my bedroom for the rest of my time here on this sweet sweet planet.

Set within a dynamic yet serene residential enclave in Littleton, the Hunter Residence showcases the innovative approach of @ltb_arch, an architectural practice known for integrating conceptual thinking with technical competency. This project exemplifies LTBa’s dedication to crafting spaces that are both functional and visually compelling.

Every architectural project has a story, and the Hunter Residence is no exception. According to LTBa’s founding principal, Luke Taylor-Brown, an unexpected twist in the design journey came when an electrical fire destroyed the homeowner's previous house, shifting priorities. What was once a smaller home grew into a larger, more intricate design—featuring expanded living spaces and a new guest wing, which brought a greater sense of openness and flexibility. This shift led to a more complex design that reflected the homeowner's evolving vision and LTBa’s adaptability.
