WEEKEND RECAP!!! 🛡️⚔️ After a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Quality Ballers, we were ready to close out our catch-up fixtures against Washed Athletic, what would’ve been our 4th game in 12 days. 😮‍💨 But in true league fashion, they saw the Spears building momentum and decided to PUT US ON ICE… AGAIN. 🧊😂 So, for once, the boys got a weekend off. Time to relax, see family, hit the beach, spend time with the wives and kids and let the legs recover.👴🏻😍 We go again next Saturday. 3 GAMES LEFT. 6/6 POINTS. 1st WEEK DONE. 🛡️⚔️ Spears up, shields down! A really tight midweek battle meant we came into today with nothing but respect for the game and the job that needed to be done. And it went exactly how Coach Max planned it, even with some interesting match officiating along the way🫪. The boys dug deep, got the result, and we move ourselves into some serious positions on the table. 6 points secured. Game in hand. 2 games next week. Everything still to play for.
