🍸✨ Sometimes all you need is good food, a great drink, and good company. The Lavender Lemon Drop at @luccaportland was the perfect way to end the day. 💜🍋

Historic Irvington living at its best ✨

This 1909 beauty sits high off the street with a dreamy front porch, formal foyer, hardwood floors, stained glass, coffered ceilings, leaded-glass built-ins, a sunroom, refreshed kitchen, four spacious bedrooms, and a private top-floor primary suite.

And the location? Surrounded by some of Portland’s most beautiful historic homes, with Eyesore Coffee, Helen Bernhard Bakery, Lucca, Heavenly Creatures, and Hale Pele all nearby.

This is why Irvington is one of Portland’s most timeless neighborhoods.

Finished the most amazing spaghetti pomodoro at Lucca in historic Irvington and had to stop into Garden Fever — a boutique-style plant shop and nursery right on Fremont.
They have such a beautiful selection of indoor and outdoor plants, the staff was fantastic, and the whole nursery had this calm, zen-like quality that makes you want to linger.
If you’re exploring Fremont Street in Portland’s historic Irvington neighborhood, Lucca and Garden Fever are two local gems you absolutely need to add to your list.
Historic homes, local restaurants, charming shops, and peaceful garden corners — this is what makes Irvington one of Portland’s most special neighborhoods.

When Z and I lived in Alameda one of our favorite things to do was walk to Lucca for dinner - we knew and loved most of the staff and, over time, explored most of the menu. We even had our rehearsal dinner there. Every year, they host a beautiful tomato dinner on the patio of their neighbor, Garden Fever. This year we returned with friends and had the most wonderful experience. Good food, great community. What a sweet reminder of how nice it feels to be involved in the goings on of our friendly city.
