Took the Marketing AI SparkCast into the podcast studio at MAICON today! 🎙️ I sat down with Mark Unrein, chief AI officer at Luckie, to explore how AI is changing the marketing agency: the work, the people and the business model. We explored how agencies can turn AI into greater strategic value for clients, rethink their business models, develop their teams and build a distinct advantage as AI reshapes what clients expect from them. Thank you, Mark, for joining me. Episode coming soon! A special thank you to Cathy McPhillips and Claire Prudhomme at SmarterX for helping make this conversation possible. #MAICON #MarketingAISparkCast #MarketingAI #AgencyLife #SparkNovus

2025 Design Awards Feature Luckie & Co by @williamsblackstock The next generation of a legacy creative agency is realized in their new home through a balance of lively collaborative spaces and focused work zones, both geared toward fostering a culture of creativity and idea generation. The result is a bold and playful space that embraces an open office studio atmosphere by crafting a variety of distinct zones within the large two-story, industrial warehouse volume. With limited natural light from the two short sides of the space the spirit of an open office environment was embraced to create a studio atmosphere, yet the space is divided in two distinct zones – a front-facing lively community space for firm gatherings, followed by a quieter zone designed for focused work. A large mass that serves as a functional storage block provides visual separation and audible buffering between these two zones, while maintaining the integrity of the two-story open space. Collaborative seating carved into the mass provides a sense of respite in the lively community space. The playful, lively collaborative zone culturally marks the agency’s identity by promoting firmwide community gatherings and creative group work in a varied environment that contrasts the more focused work area. Fostering creative productivity, a variety of spaces is further provided through smaller, individual “zoom” rooms under the mezzanine extension, and open lounge seating on the mezzanine as a reflective setting that takes advantage of the large industrial space. The playful use of color and warm wood feature wall that includes an evolved rendition of the firm’s storied logo was a specific goal of the client to reflect their own spirit and culture, and contrast with the clean white background. Learn more here: www.aiabham.org/design-award/luckie 📸: @lukerphotography
