Glasgow is somewhere we’ve spoken about taking EMPOWER to for a long time, and in 2026 we finally made it happen! 🎉

A gorgeous evening of music showcasing composers including Valerie Coleman, @heathercartwrightmusic, Amy Beach and more, performed beautifully by all our chamber ensembles. We also had the pleasure of performing @ezo.sarici’s ‘Anchors to Freedom’ once again with the best girl band ever 🥰

The conversations we have at our events are always open and honest, but this one seemed to go even deeper. Thank you to our incredible panellists, Lucy (x2!) and Catriona, it was an honour to have you all at our first event in Glasgow 💜

Thank you to City Halls for having us, for your immaculate purple vibes, and for being so accommodating following the closure of the CCA! Not forgetting our Creative Producer @rhionna_piano in helping make it all happen 💫

Sometimes you just have to join in… you can’t resist! 😄🎶 That magical moment when hundreds of primary schoolchildren burst into 'How Far I'll Go' from Disney's Moana.

The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra presented two 'Epic Adventures Through the Elements' at Glasgow City Halls, presented by Lucy Drever and conducted by Stefano Boccacci.
