It's easy to stay stuck in a place that isn't serving you . Negativity and complaining are contagious . Feeling gross and tired , run down and over it all? Change your surroundings and move your body . You mood WILL change ! It's fact . Get some fresh air , sunshine and spend some time being grateful... and see how everything changes .
Get up, get outside , breathe the fresh air , face the sunshine , unclench your teeth , relax your shoulders and breathe . Take a moment to say outloud 7 things for which you are grateful . They don't have to be huge ... I woke up, I have a home , my kids are well, I have a job , the sun isn't , I slept well.... gratitude ~ it changes everything . What you look for you see . Look for the blessing , see the good , spread the smile , give grace and be the reason someone has hope ! Cheers to good days - they're all good days if we are here .#bethedifference #sunshineandsmiles #changeyourmindset

I hope this doesn't come as a surprise to anyone here, but this is a daily prayer .My alignment with MAKE Wellness speaks to my heart - as a nurse I've always been a helping sort, this is no different . I share from my experience and my heart. My dad was a salesman / engineer . I can hear him now calling some sales guys - "film flam artists" . You know the type , always hyping something to make money, the next big thing . All hype and no substance . MAKE Wellness - all substance and authentic enthusiasm , not hype. Affiliate and social selling has gotten a bad reputation - and frequently , it has been well earned . What you see is what you get with MAKE , and with me . No hype . All truth . All results . Real . Science backed . Did I need to be an affiliate ? Nope. I aligned with this company because I'm a true believer in the world needs more good people doing good things for good reasons .... and mine is to share what I have experienced . Literally life changing outcomes from prioritizing my health. So, yes I make money when you trust me and order from me , but that's not why I share . I share because the world needs less flim flam and more real deal.

Motivation and Gratitude :
I had a conversation recently about feeling "gross" but lacking the motivation to work out .

As we spoke I said , maybe it's your perspective on the entire thing that is keeping you stuck ~ why not call it "moving " instead of "working out" ?

As we continued I shared with her what I do to try to stay consistent to the promise I made to myself to move more everyday ...

I keep the perspective that many folks I know would love to be able to move and can not . Being pain free , strong and able is a gift - truly . So I treasure that gift, guard it and look at moving as my insurance policy .

I shared a few things that help me , a total non athlete type , to move everyday :

I get dressed first thing in the morning in my clothes for exercise - that way I have one less excuse and it reminds me of my schedule .

I try to be consistent and developed a routine, movement became just what I do at certain times- a non negotiable habit .

I focus on the positive - I am able to do this AND I am keeping the promise I made to myself to be proactive about my health and feeling good .

I want to be the strong grandma , wife , friend , sibling , aunt who can keep up , play and be present . I don't want to be a burden to my family as I age and , most importantly , I want to honor the gift of my health .

As we parted ways she thanked me and said today marks day 1 of her new perspective - she's going to "move" more .

For every person that is weary , every body that needs a boost , for every mind that needs a break , I pray the decision to move ( however you are able ) be planted within your heart , I pray . Amen

Love the skin you're in is easier said than done some days but .... can I introduce you to an amazing trio that may help you to consistently appreciate the skin on your entire body ??

Yes , my complexion could use all boosts it can get , yes I have fine , and not so fine , wrinkles and lines on my face , yes I have discoloration and uneven texture - I'm 62.

At 62 having never had any procedures or injections done to my face - what you see is what you get - it's me . No filter , no filler , just me.

And you know what? Thank you , God that I am here . As a melanoma stage 2 survivor my perspective may be a little different that most . I want to protect and preserve the skin I'm in . Wrinkles and lines... well I'm not horrified . They are from years of living , years of laughing and years of being fully alive - they are my street cred in a way.

I've seen fire and rain and God has always been good to me . So pardon me if my love for these products isn't necessarily from vanity . I love these for the science . I love these for the intention behind their composition and most of all , I love these for the salute they give to my Creator .

These products are made to signal the amazing system God created in our bodies - to wake them up and give them the green light to work as intended by the one that created the OG system of me !

Sourced from nature . No toxins . No bad trickle down . Just cell signaling , precision products that flip (back on )the switch that turned off with aging .

Work smarter , not harder . Skin is your first line defense against intruders, your immune system's mote that will protect you from invasion - and this new technology is only the beginning! It's not just about outward appearances, lines and wrinkles - it's about skin integrity and skin biome , skin strength and skin elasticity - skin health for your entire body . Skin is our largest organ - yes , it's an organ - it lives and breathes . Beauty and Wellness ... love the skin you're in , respect it , treasure it and treat it with care .

Love the skin you're in ... and now you can , starting Monday .
