GUYS!!!! They don’t call me the #ThriftQueen, Secondhand Sorceress for nothing!! 🔮I have been manifesting these chairs for TEN YEARS and the thrift gods blessed me because I finally found SIX of them on Facebook Marketplace 😭!!! The listing was actually for a table and chairs, but the seller was nice enough to sell me just the chairs and when I tell you I rannnn…And by ran, I mean ran straight to @lugg because #PoorAlex finally put his foot down and left me on read?! WILD!!!Thankfully, I have another husband now 😆 @lugg gifted me the pickup, went and got all six chairs directly from the seller and brought them right to my door while I tracked the whole thing from my phone. They even wrapped them all up so nicely and I was TOO EXCITED SO LOOK AT THEMMMMM!!! But we’re not done!! Do we paint them? Lacquer them?! What fabric are we putting on those seats?! And most importantly… are we putting them in the kitchen or the dining room?! HELP!!! But first, let’s play my favorite game… GUESS HOW MUCH I PAID FOR ALL SIX CHAIRS?!

Thank you @countrylivingfair for providing a wonderful venue to share all my favorite things. This settee was getting lots of attention at the fair and I’m so glad it found a forever happy home!

Also a HUGE shoutout to @lugg for not only helping us unload the settee when we arrived, but also taking it away for the customer…and most of all the tremendous help they provided at loading time. If it hadn’t been for their help we never would have finished when we did. It was already a long day and lucky for us, one of the guys @lugg was ready and willing to literally do the heavy lifting! Thank you so much for not only your physical support, but also the kindness and helpful attitude. You guys are true professionals!!

Lastly, not only did my settee (which is really the size of a long sofa) sell but also the two regency chairs that have been in my shop since I opened a year ago! They went home with a super swanky couple that really knows style and design.

This fair was my first and I learned a lot, made new friends and proved to myself that I could make it work. I really brought my A-game and I think it showed. The positive feedback I received was worth every cent I put into the setup and I am forever grateful for having had this opportunity to share what I love. And of course meeting Paula Sutton @hillhousevintage was like the icing on the cake! Thank you again @countrylivingfair 🩷🩷🩷

It was such a beautiful day spent in my old stomping grounds of the Hudson Valley.
As a girl growing up in these rolling hills shopping vintage and antiques was a part of my DNA, way before it was “trending” It was how my mother just intuitively designed home.

It’s strange and cool all at the same time to witness the moment that heritage pieces and how the makers behind some of the beauty found at this show are being celebrated.

My office is moving rooms and I wanted a change after five years. I have loved and received so many compliments on my first bookcase but it’s staying in my former office so I had to find something new!

I used @lugg for the first time and I think it was well worth it, this bookcase was so heavy!

Anyway, I’m still playing around with how I want it to look, but I’m loving it so far! 🙌
