The beauty of setting up the paddock the night before.
You left work as quick as possible, you have planned this for weeks and packed everything already days ago.
And then the gates open..
You get greeted by a big smile and North German mentality, you already meet some of your friends on the way to the spot that will be yours for the weekend. Just you, fresh air and the sound of trailers rumbling behind the trusty diesels that tow them.
Time to unload your car, set up the camp, put the trailer away and chat with the others about who is most excited about tomorrow while the beautiful sun starts kissing your cars silhouette.

Trackday recap - Lausitzring.

After a long preparation phase, the Bilz M-01 finally hit the track at the DEKRA Klassik Tage / Oldtimer Trackdays.

With perfect conditions on Saturday, the first laps immediately felt right. The car gave me confidence from the start, and with every lap I could push a little more and simply enjoy driving it. The engine ran clean and sounded exactly as it should, a big thank you to Peter for all the help!

Unfortunately, our Saturday ended a little earlier than planned after an issue with one of the rear brake hoses forced me to bring the M-01 back to the pits.

Still, the weekend was a big step forward: more experience, more confidence in the car and plenty learned for the next outing.

Next stop: Nürburgring with Oldtimer Trackdays.

One of the most demanding projects I've ever taken on. Countless challenges along the way, but with the support of amazing friends, I managed to overcome every one of them. Every setback was worth it. Now it's time for the next track day.

See you soon! 🏁
