Some places feel familiar before we know anything about them. A doorway. A staircase. The quiet entrance to a house we've never visited. In House No 51, Lukáš Priečko @lukaspriecko gives an ordinary architectural space an extraordinary amount of attention. The winding staircase, the textures, the subtle shifts in light, every detail invites us to look a little longer. But the longer I look, the less I'm thinking about how accurately it's painted. I start wondering about the place itself. Who walks through that entrance? What does the house sound like? What happens just beyond the edges of the painting? Lukáš has spoken about realism not as a perfect copy of reality, but as something that feels emotionally truthful. And I think that's what makes this work so interesting. It doesn't simply show us a place. It makes us imagine a life inside it. Most of us might walk past an entrance like this without giving it much thought. Lukáš gives us a reason to stop. Maybe seeing more doesn't always mean finding something extraordinary. Sometimes it just takes looking more carefully at what's already there. #LukasPriecko #OilPainting #ArtOfObservation

HOUSE NO. 64: A SPACE WITHIN 🏚️🖤

By @lukaspriecko

More than an interior, House No. 64 is a mirror of the mind. Through worn surfaces, muted tones and delicate light, Lukas Priečko transforms an architectural space into a place for introspection, memory and emotion.

The room is still, yet it feels full of invisible stories. Its empty spaces become a canvas for our own thoughts, moods and memories.

An oil painting that doesn't ask for interpretation, but invites us to look inward.

Slovak artist Lukáš Priečko creates hyperrealistic oil paintings and graphite drawings that capture the quiet beauty of ordinary spaces.
With a background in industrial design, he uses subtle lighting and meticulous control of value to render everyday interiors, still lifes, and intimate moments with incredible accuracy. Up close, visible brushwork reveals the human hand behind scenes that initially look like high-resolution photography.

A study in light, texture, and timeless architectural detail. This beautifully painted interior captures the warmth and character of a winding staircase, from the aged woodwork to the soft, sunlit walls.

Watching a piece come to life from the very first line. ✍️🎨

What begins as a simple ink sketch slowly transforms into a richly layered oil painting—each stroke adding depth, texture, and character. There's something special about seeing the journey from concept to canvas.

🖼 Hyperrealism Filled with Silence

Lukas Priecko (@lukaspriecko) is a Slovak artist known for his hyperrealistic paintings of interiors and urban spaces.
In his works, ordinary doors, hallways, walls, and light feel like cinematic scenes — calm, minimalistic, and deeply emotional at the same time.
This is where metamodernism appears — when everyday reality transforms into atmosphere and emotion.

🖼 Sessizlikle Dolu Hiperrealizm

Lukas Priecko (@lukaspriecko) —
