RECAP AND PHOTODUMP ♥️

LEICA SL3-P Key Opinion Leader Event!

I had the honor to talk and to be a part of this beautiful organized event by my leica family ♥️

So many things happend:

First I had an expert talk next to one of my all time heroes @stevemccurryofficial and the legend @calloalbanese

Then I had a photoshooting at the leica studio in front of my international colleagues and press! Big thank you to my @louisvuitton fam for the wonderful outfit!

Steve signed my book with a very wonderful dedication ♥️ well, I guess we are friends now 😍

Also being together with my dear friend @jaymoxias was so nice. Especially sharing a moment where he drinks a Negroni 🤣 (this guy doesn’t drink alcohol at all. It was Steve’s fault🤣)

Then going to coblenz with the squad and visiting a medieval festival which was so fun to see!

And then finally going to the legendary Nurburgring where I had the chance to test my SL3-P during the 24 hours race!

I am really greatful to be a part of the leica family and for the support & trust they give me in my work.
Happenings like that gives me such a push in my confidence to move on and doing greater things.
It was such a great and fun group from the participants to the whole leica team! ♥️

I hope you enjoy my small recap 🙏

What happens when creativity is part of your life from the very beginning?

This week on The P.H.Y.S Podcast, I sit down with photographer and videographer @lukasvanderlende for a conversation about creativity, community, mental health, and finding your own voice as an artist.

Growing up with a photographer father and a painter mother, Lukas was surrounded by creativity from day one. Those influences helped shape the way he sees the world and ultimately led him toward a career behind the camera.

We talk about life as a creative in a small town, the challenges and rewards of building a creative career, and the connection between photography and mental health.

This is a conversation about more than cameras.

It's about family.

It's about growth.

And it's about the ways creativity can help us better understand ourselves and the world around us.

Because sometimes the most meaningful journeys begin right where we are.

Available now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and wherever you listen to podcasts.

In this episode of The P.H.Y.S Podcast, I sit down with @lukasvanderlende, a photographer and videographer based in West Michigan.

Lukas grew up surrounded by creativity. His father was a photographer and his mother a painter, so visual storytelling was always part of his world. That early influence helped shape the creative path he eventually followed behind the camera.

Through both photography and filmmaking, Lukas has developed a style that blends strong technical ability with honest storytelling. His work reflects the everyday environments and moments that shape the communities around him.

In this conversation we talk about what it is like building a creative life in a small town. Unlike major creative hubs, smaller communities come with their own unique challenges and opportunities for artists. Lukas shares how that environment has influenced the way he approaches both photography and videography.

We also dive into an important topic for many creatives: the connection between photography and mental health. For Lukas, the act of creating images brings clarity, balance, and a meaningful outlet for expression. Photography becomes more than a profession — it becomes a way to process life and stay grounded.

Throughout the episode we discuss growing up in a family of artists, turning passion into profession, and the lessons that come with building a creative path on your own terms.

This is a heartfelt conversation about art, community, creativity, and the powerful role photography can play in personal growth.

On this episode of The Life of PHYS Podcast, I sit down with Lukas Van Der Lende (@lukasvanderlende) a photographer and videographer based in West Michigan.

joy to the world, the Lord is come 🌠🎄

the season of advent is another significant moment in the liturgical calendar / life of the church. we celebrate the long awaited arrival of our Savior 2000 years ago as a humble baby. but also we wait and long for his promised return as eternal victorious king.

hope, peace, love, joy in the advent of the Christ 🕯️

this year the goal was all out, bright color, child like, joy!

another creative ministry highlight, a co-labor-ation with countless saints and servants, seen and unseen, giving of their time, talent and treasure, gold, frankincense and myrrh for the sake of the King and His kingdom.

along these lines, this year, our church began releasing music under a new moniker @fields.worship writing and producing music for the church is a God given gift and a scripture mandated responsibility. we offer melodic prayers, aiming to lift vertical songs of praise rooted in scripture and the life of our local church.

xmas + fields, in the words of my gifted friends @katherineaverill @lynimoeller @immanuelaziz :

“our cynical hearts give way to a childlike wonder
each time we recall the glorious babe in a manger”

“fear will be drowned out with a holy noise
every heart can beat with the tune
Jesus is here and that’s good, good news”

“Emmanuel, from the manger to the golden streets
God here with us, for all of eternity”

Peter abandoned Jesus in PHX 🌵🎣🌊🔥🐓🌓

remembering the death and celebrating the resurrection of Christ are the center of the Christian faith. at our church, we take seriously telling this story and go all out facilitating the memorial and celebration at Good Friday and Easter. this is something we followers of Christ have been doing in various shapes and forms since 33 AD and will do until he returns.

this year, we centered this liturgical moment in the life of our church around the story of Jesus through the eyes of Peter — how we abandoned jesus and his call to follow yet in love he still died for us on the cross. we weren’t there, but this is our story and our sin put him there. then he arose to redeem and restore us in our sin and failure and calls us to be fully abandoned followers of Him in new life — He is still risen!

this meant a filming trip to phoenix after it started with an idea from @dkwisen that led to a script by @katherineaverill and creative work from so many great saints and servants including but not limited to @immanuelaziz @lynimoeller @cassidy____armstrong @meganswierenga @trevorjgreen @jonathanedelblut @nay_timmy

each day/season in ministry looks different and I’m just grateful to serve vocationally in any and every way the church needs but being a part of creative work with so many incredibly gifted friends is undeniably fun and a gift.
