Just like that, my competitive college golf career has come to an end. Golf has pushed me in ways I didn’t know was possible not just as an athlete, but as a person.

Thank you to my dad and macdaddy for introducing me to this game in the first place. You didn’t just put a club in my hands but you gave me something that would quite literally become one of the most defining parts of my life. Thank you for the constant push to be better and for believing in me even when I didn’t fully believe in myself.

To my parents and grandparents especially my mimi, macdaddy, and dad thank you for showing up. Through high school tournaments and college rounds, you were always there. Even when I didn’t play well, even when I was frustrated, even when it probably wasn’t the easiest thing to sit through……you still came. I don’t think I ever said it enough, but seeing you there meant more than any score ever could.

“Days are long but Years are short.” To my parents.. i just want to thank you guys for letting me get this experience. this was the best decision i ever made and these girls are the best people i ever met and coach has been there for me every step of the way, but none of this would have ever been possible without you guys. i love yall so much for giving me something’s that’s so hard to let go and accept is happening. To my teammates.. i am so blessed i got to meet you all and get to share this experience with you. it was never about score, it was about us and our shared love for chasing a little white ball around for 18 holes. I will forever miss the van rides, long practices, tournament days, and every memory in between. I love you all endlessly.
To my coaches.. Coach Craig, you took a chance on me and I will never be able to repay you. You gave me a family away from home that I never knew I needed. Jordan, my OG pookie, you have helped me find myself off and on the course. I am so blessed to have had you as a coach, mentor, and my friend. Emily, I may have only known you for a short time but you allowed me to realize a score does not define who we are. You have helped the team so much and I can’t wait to see where you take them. As this chapter closes of my athletic career, another one opens to continue being on this team as their Grad Assistant! Thank you to everyone who has supported me and followed along these crazy 4 years! Go cowboys and cowgirls! 💜

I love that we can blend family and work so seamlessly, creating a dynamic that truly works. The cotton candy idea was pure genius and a huge hit! I'm beyond proud to be part of this team and brokerage. Congrats on our newest listing in Grapevine, TX, featuring the amazing builds by @grahamharthomebuilder

Buckle up, this one’s worth it. ✨

I met this couple in November, soon to be married, first-time buyers, full of hope. From the start, my job was simple: educate, encourage questions, and remind them it’s their journey. I’m not entitled to anyone’s business.

They went with a builder and their preferred lender. I cheered them on. But the moment contracts were signed, communication went silent. Questions unanswered, progress unknown, so they trusted their gut and walked away.

So we regrouped. Had real conversations. At one point they asked, “should we just give up?” I heard them. Fear and frustration had made their dream feel impossible. I told them straight, I will not promise you something I cannot get to the closing table.

Round Two, another new construction. Another round of eye catching incentives. Went under contract with another lender. Then they were told they were ineligible for a VA loan, which didn’t sit right with them. Second contract dissolved.

Third go round? That’s when they said: “We don’t care who the preferred lender is, we want to work with you. You know our story. We feel like we’re talking to a friend.”

So we ran. Two weeks. Done. 🔑

This wasn’t an easy road but we got them home. And none of it would happen without the tenacity and strategy of @realtorstaceybrown. A fierce advocate for her clients. Showing after showing, builder meeting after builder meeting. And @luke.jun who provided clarity and confidence and made sure their dream stayed protected from day one.

Who you work with matters. I am so honored by every person who trusts me with their journey. And the teamwork it takes to get there.🤍

Luke was born and raised in the Bay Area, California for 17 years before he and his family moved to Dallas in late 2019. He attended Hardin-Simmons University, located 3 hours west of Dallas in Abilene, Texas, where he played collegiate golf and double majored in finance and economics within the Honors college.
While at HSU, He served on the International Student Foundation board and the Student Activities Board at HSU; the conversationalist aspect of both his involvement in extracurriculars as well as on the golf team helped him realize how much of a people person Luke truly is!
Luke appreciates C1’s innate talent at connecting with clients and building personable, trustworthy relationships. In his free time, you can always find Luke in the gym, going on runs, playing volleyball, or a round of golf. He is a huge foodie and is always looking for new restaurants to try!
