I took some time away from the gym to recenter myself with the Lord and remind myself why I’m even doing this in the first place.

I’m not training just for myself or for a physique. I want to steward the body God gave me, to be healthy and strong enough to worship, serve, and go wherever He calls me.

There was a period of my life when I was so lost and broken that simply getting up felt impossible. Now, I have the strength to move, to train, to live, and to serve. That alone is something I’ll never take for granted.

I’m so happy to be back in the gym, but I’m even happier to be back with the Lord FIRST. 🤍

So this season, the weights can be heavy, but they’ll never be my foundation.

Let this be your reminder: more important than carrying the weight is remembering the One who carried the cross. ✝️

i can just feel it now…
the strength. the growth. the version of me God is shaping me into.

not there yet, but she’s getting closer.
every rep, every set, every day i choose to keep going—while trusting God with the process.

some things He gives you instantly, others He gives you the grace and discipline to build.

and i can just feel it now. 🖤

It’s been a while since I posted a physique update on this page.

Sometimes you have to take a step back and remember why you started. Sometimes the greatest growth happens when no one is watching. Build yourself in private before you feel the need to display yourself in public again.

The work you do behind the scenes will always matter more than the recognition it receives. Keep showing up. Keep growing. The results will speak when it’s time.

Every few days I run a mile.

Not because I’m training for a race, but because I’m training my spirit.

When my lungs burn, my legs ache, and every part of me wants to stop, I remind myself that following Jesus often means moving forward even when your flesh begs you to quit.

In Matthew 14, Peter stepped out of the boat. Faith got him out, but he still had to take the steps. Jesus didn’t come to Peter—Peter had to walk toward Jesus.

So let me ask you this:

If God told you He was one mile away… what would you do?

Would you stand there saying, “Isn’t my belief enough?”

Or would you run every step to get to Him?

Many of us have faith.
Now it’s time to put that faith into action.

Because belief isn’t just something we say.
It’s something we live.

Train your body to obey your spirit.
Train your spirit to pursue Christ.
And when your flesh says, “I can’t,” let your obedience answer, “Watch me.”

“Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” — James 2:17
“Let us run with endurance the race set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus.” — Hebrews 12:1–2
