9/9, 505.91 DOTS, 452.5kg total (+5kg), Best Overall Lifter 🥇

Couldn’t have asked for a better way to end this meet (besides pulling 200😉). Kidding… but I definitely had 200+ in me. The one and only @sbdwight knew exactly what he was doing, and we pulled what we needed to win best lifter.

No squat PR for some silly reason🤪, but hitting 167.5kg was a huge win after irritating my knee a week out.

Massive bench PR (+7.5kg)! I’ve dreamed of benching 90kg in comp, and we finally hit that milestone. Couldn’t be happier. And a 195kg deadlift for the win, matching my PR/meet PR on a pretty easy attempt.😊

I won’t lie, I considered dropping out when my knee flared up again a week out. After a cortisone shot, everything was going well until it wasn’t. I was emotional, could barely walk, and was frustrated beyond words. But I was always taught to never give up, and this meet is exactly why. None of this would’ve happened if I had given up.

If there’s one thing to take from this post, it’s to believe in yourself and keep going. Perseverance and resilience matter.

I couldn’t have done any of this without Dwight Burns, who is the absolute GOAT. I’m beyond grateful for everything he does for me. And a huge thank you to Lukey for handling me and standing by my side every step of the way.💕

Now for the hard part. It’s time to step away and focus on recovery. My first knee surgery is Tuesday, followed by my bigger knee surgery in December, with a 9-12 month recovery, plus another abdominal surgery in November. I’ll be documenting this journey, but it’s hard to accept that I won’t compete again for a few years.

But when I come back… we might have a little surprise 👀 #63kg iykyk

I know this break will challenge me mentally and physically, especially after dedicating so many years to this sport, but I’m confident I’ll come back stronger in both ways.

Forever grateful that I get to push my body, chase big goals, and do what I love. This isn’t the end, just a different chapter.

I love you all. ❤️

so many emotions on this one🥹

i have not hit a true deadlift PR in over 2 years so this one means a lot. My best triple was 175 conventional over 2 years ago, so this one means something 🥺

i took the W here - i couldn’t really squat today (knee), in my own head this whole week, frustrated, but still must show up. ❤️

7/9, 447.5kg total ~ +12.5kg total PR
498.4 DOTS (are we kidding)

this was an extremely fun day, didn’t go as planned (when does it 🤪) but very happy with how everything was executed.

Huge shoutout to my coach @sbdwight for being the goat and not only helping me with my training, but helping me overcome my silly back pain and gain the confidence I needed to pull this off. I seriously could not have done this without you.

Another huge shoutout to @agent21emh for being an amazing handler, kept me locked in and extremely motivating. He knew exactly what to do and when to do it and all i had to worry about was executing the lift 🫡

I am beyond grateful for this experience and for every single one of you who supports me. I love you all ❤️
