We’re super excited to announce our first community surf of the year! 🌊✨🎉

Our surfs are free, unisex & come with tips & support for beginners! 👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏼

Meet Sunday 0730 on the lawn at Surfing WA Trigg where you can hire a board there ($33) if you need! The water is at its highest temperature of the year presently so wetsuits are optional.

For this session we’ll be doing a 20min surf inspired yoga session to get us ready for the waves! 🧘🏼‍♀️

We generally surf for about an hour before hitting the showers & enjoying some sips & chats at Foam! ☕️😊

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to try surfing, or take your surfing journey to the next level in ‘26 with an awesome crew, now’s your chance!

We first landed in Perth in January 2024 with empty pockets and no real plan. It was a spontaneous move from Sydney to a city we’d not really heard much about so we really didn’t know what to expect from WA. 🏜️

The first few months were hard and pretty lonely. And it just goes to show that sometimes, when you’re waiting for something to change, you are the one who has to give it a chance first. When we finally did, the universe gave back. 🙏🏻

When we came back in October that year after visiting home, we promised ourselves we’d do it differently this time. This is when we attended our first @cold_nips event — the 100th dip in Scarborough & then a @perthsisterhoodsociety meet up and it changed everything. We realised that when you put yourself out there and show up unapologetically as yourself, you find people who see you, uplift you and believe in you. 🥹

This year has been full of growth, community events, new connections and trying things we never thought we’d have the confidence to do. Moments that cost little but gave so much to our mental and physical health. We learnt that alignment exists in unexpected places and that growth doesn’t have to be loud, but sometimes brave. ❤️‍🩹

Now we leave to chase another long-time dream: the lap of Australia. Leaving is hard, but one of the biggest lessons Perth taught us is that sometimes you have to leave what becomes comfortable to grow even further.🤝🏼

Perth, thank you - for the people, the lessons, and the version of ourselves we found here. We’ll be back 🤍

I've spent the last few days reflecting on 2025. What a wild year. I started it in the lowest place I've ever been. Que the comeback of the century! I travelled overseas for the first time in a long time. I was flown to Melbourne to speak at a conference. I volunteered at a zoo effectively living out a childhood dream. I sat in a 2x2m square for 20 hours without talking or with any stimulation. I started men's work, went on a retreat and that brought some of the best blokes I've ever met into my life and allowed me to evolve into the best version of myself. I participated in a sweat lodge (google it. Fuckin. Wild) I started going to things by myself, sound healing and breath work to name a few. I got to jam with my best friends. I performed my first fucking gig! I started running again. I stayed consistent in the gym. I became present. I notice love everywhere. I took my time. I relaxed. I breathed. I became unafraid to show my depth and vulnerability. I healed (long journey and it's never fuckin over 😂). I spent more time with family. I connected. For the first time in my life, I became proud of myself and I believe in myself. That's maybe 17 year old Rowan chopping up a sesh in the last photo. I think he'd be super proud of the man he is today. Bless every single person in my life right now. I'm so fucking lucky. 2026... LFG 💪🏻

The new year wrap/ life lately🩷

It’s been a whirlwind of a year, an absolute shedding of self, countless moments of finding myself again and again. I feel like I’ve met myself 100 times through and as the year draws closer to a close, I’ve found myself in a state of fulfilment. Gratitude to what is and the expanse to what is becoming.

In these last few months especially, the reminders and themes have rose from within myself to achieve deeper embodiment of who I truly am and lean in to what makes me, me💓

So life lately:
The blend has been of beach dips, beautiful friends, attending/facilitating events, discos, poetry, dancing, painting, gym, journaling anddd I went in my first ice bath/longer sauna sesh back in sep which I think is cool🧊 🔥

I also became qualified a few months ago in Aug in being a Crystal Singing Bowls Sound Bath Facilitator. Although since 2016 the beginning of my yoga journey (well known yoga journey more so, because yoga isn’t just an on the mat practice but off too, everything is yoga!) I’d delved deep in to the wonder of sound healing application to my yoga practices. But holding a certification is of course wonderful in which I can expand my wisdom outward with. Since training I’ve played a few events which I’ve enjoyed and it’s felt quite on path💛

I’ve been a busy bee and I’m grateful for it all 🐝 💛

2026 let’s go💛🙌🏽
