Mosaic tile can be tricky. Here’s a quick breakdown of the installation process and the steps to getting it right!

1. **Start with a Dry Fit:** Lay the tile out on the floor to make sure you have all the pieces and that they fit together perfectly.
2. **Plan the Layout:** Use the floor map as your guide. Find the not so pretty areas, like dark spots or mismatched tile, and plan to place them in less noticeable spots, like under the sink.
3. **Ensure Leveling:** Some tiles may have slight differences in height. Be sure to check that all tiles are level, adjusting the amount of thin-set mortar as needed.
4. **Order Extra Pieces:** Don’t forget to order additional loose pieces of tile to fill in any small gaps that may appear during installation.

I hope these tips of the trade are helpful for your next renovation project!
