Melbourne — a little trip down memory lane, and a whole lot of inspiration. ❤️
I’ve just spent some beautiful days revisiting the places that once felt so much a part of my everyday life.

The laneways and arcades I used to wander between Bourke Street and Flinders Street Station. The quirky little cafés, hidden shops and unexpected corners where you never quite knew what you might discover.

Carlton, where I first lived when I moved to Melbourne — strolling down Lygon Street, coffee at Brunetti, dinner at Tiamo, a movie at Nova and losing myself in the shelves at Readings. So many of those places are still there, and seeing them again made my heart leap.

And then there was Daylesford — my little healing place. Somewhere I would escape to recharge, slow down and reconnect with nature. Long walks, beautiful surroundings and time spent soaking in the mineral spas. It was a place where I could simply breathe and be.

And Melbourne itself always gave me permission to be my quirky self. To wear vintage clothes, beautiful coats and be a little bit different. Somewhere along the way, I think I lost a little of that girl.
Being back, I feel like I’ve found her again — or at least met her where I am today.

I’ve come home with a full heart, lots of new inspiration and a little piece of that Melbourne magic to bring back into my studio.

The colours, textures, nature, vintage treasures and memories are already finding their way into my creative thoughts.
I can’t wait to see where they take me.

Daylesford.
A town best explored slowly, especially in winter.
A few stills from my time in this beautiful town last week.
