Running your own business might look independent from the outside… but it’s never a solo sport.
Behind Yore is a whole little ecosystem of people who’ve helped me grow; my accountant @thegoodbooksclub who keeps things in my Xero in order and makes sure all things taxes/GST/ are above board (as previous experience proves I cannot be trusted to do this alone lmao), @flickersocials and @anni_onthego who edit those incredible videos I’ve been posting lately, @sabistudio___ for providing a beautiful photography studio and hosting local creator events, @metalanddust__ for being my ultimate work confidant and friend, and for kindly letting me work from her stunning studio space when I’m in town, @studio_otra for all things dev/tech/hype girl/jazz hands & for being in my corner since day 1, and @lunatemplates for providing such an incredible community of designers and developers to learn from.
It’s taken me a few years to really understand this; you can’t scale in isolation. You can’t do everything forever. And you deeeeefinitely can’t grow if you’re trying to wear every hat at once. Every time I’ve invested in working with someone smarter than me in their field, my business has shifted forward. Not overnight, not magically - but steadily.
Small business takes a village. It takes community. It takes conversations, referrals, feedback, shared wins and the occasional “STFU girl, you’re overthinking it.”
And honestly? Learning from others has been one of the most valuable parts of building this humble little biz of mine that’s been running for 10 years 💕

Using Shopify’s default blog layout is like serving fine dining on a paper plate. You’re putting in the effort—premium content, great product photos, helpful info… But the layout? It screams 2008. ➤ No buttons. ➤ No product sections. ➤ No email opt-ins. ➤ Bad image formatting. ➤ Broken SEO structure. You're not getting traffic or conversions—not because your content is bad, but because Shopify's blog builder is holding you back. Here’s what you can actually do: ✅ Hire a dev or freelancer to custom-code your blog ✅ Use a done-for-you template like Luna Blogging Template ✅ Or connect a real CMS like WordPress or Webflow with your Shopify store P.S. I’m not affiliated with Luna templates, I just found them genuinely helpful. If you need an easier, high-converting blog solution, they’re worth checking out. Stop letting a weak layout kill your strong content. DM me “BLOG FIX” and I’ll help you choose the best fix for your store, strategy & budget. 👇 Drop your thoughts or frustrations in the comments — let’s talk blog pain! . . . . . . . #ShopifyTips #EcommerceCoach #SmallBusinessOwner #OnlineStoreHelp #JewelryBusiness #ProductBasedBusiness #ShopifyDesign #EcomFounders #FemaleFounders #BrandStrategy #ShopifyExperts #EcommerceBranding #SmallBusinessMarketing #ShopifyWebsite #ContentToConvert #MarketingForMakers #DigitalProductBiz #ShopifyTemplate #ShopifySEO #australiansmallbusinesses

🌱FRESH N CLEAN DESIGN—just like our skincare routine, am I rite? I’m super excited to share this website project I’ve been working on! Check it out at sharonleesbest.com and get instant access to infamous Korean skincare in Canada. This website was jammed packed with strategy! Do we want a before and after post? 👀 lots of value was added beyond just the products itself! ✨ a skincare quiz to help you curate the products that are best suited for your needs ✨ a separate page to request a skin consult away from the contact page so inquired are organized ✨ a mega menu that organizes the products by categories effectively ✨ customer reviews features so other people can see how effective the products are for them + more! Ever since I did an audit and optimization a month and a half ago while I was working on the design, the website has started gaining traction on search and a purchases were made! We love not only aesthetically pleasing website but a function one too! And in no means do I consider myself a Shopify specialist (like the way I am with Squarespace) so thank GOD for @lunatemplates 💫 + my coding knowledge I already do know to follow tutorials with ease. — #shopifystore #websitedesign #websitedevelopment #websitedesigner #websitedesigners #webdesigner #webdesigners #shopifystores #shopifywebsite #shopifywebdesign #websitelaunch #webdesignservices #buildingmybrand #onlinebusinessowner #creativeentrepreneur
