Natural IFBB Pro Debut ✅🥉

I was close to backing out of this show 2 months ago. I’m glad I pulled through. 3rd place out of 3 people is nothing to brag about, but I’m proud of myself for persevering and putting together a good package. I’m grateful I got to battle 2 incredible competitors @ypj_yaya and @digdeepfitnessllc. They showed me the levels to this sport and inspire me to work my ass off to get there.

We decided to bring better condition this show, but due to the difficult year I had, my starting point of prep was not good, almost skinny fat. The push for condition left me extremely depleted by the start of peak week and while we pushed for a 5 day carb up of 4k calories a day, it wasn’t enough. That’s why my look didn’t have that pop this year and I had some inflammation/softness from pushing carbs so hard. Now we know, we have the data, this mistake won’t happen again. Regardless, I am still proud of the condition and noticeable improvements to my muscle density and certain body parts.

We made great improvements to posing with the help of @teamlinoposing and @jl.lino, the routine is distinctly my moves and clean, I’ll probably keep this routine all the way to the top. Thank you guys 🙏🏼

Thank you to my coach @jaws_ifbbpro for always doing everything in his power to bring my best. He’s been with me every step of the way and always believes in me, pushes me, and inspires me to be my best. 🧙‍♂️

Huge shoutout to @xtremenaturalproshow for putting together an incredible show and taking such good care of the pro athletes. They made the experience that much more special for me.

Shoutout to @williamkingg_ifbbpro for winning his pro card!! We trained together 2 weeks out and he told me he didn’t have anyone helping him, so I offered to help him peak and get ready for the show, I’m glad I got the opportunity to help you cross that finish line 💪🏼

I’m still deciding the next move for me, but don’t worry, I’ll be back.

Another Pro Qualifier in the books! 🇨🇦🏆

After 25 weeks of prep, I finally stepped on stage @xtremenaturalproshow on Sunday.

One thing I took away from this weekend is just how much the smallest details matter at this level. The difference between earning your IFBB Pro Card and coming up just short can sometimes come down to a matter of hours. It’s not always about who has the better physique, but who brings their best look when it matters most.

Although I fell short of my goal, I’m proud of the improvements I’ve made and everything I’ve learned this year.

One of the biggest highlights was watching my athlete @lesleylindsay.ifbbpro win her IFBB Pro Card! Seeing her raise that card above her head is a moment I’ll never forget. Another highlight was watching @coachrayreimer win the Masters Classic Physique 35+ Overall! Couldn’t be prouder of these two!

A huge thank you to Allana, Dejan, Clara, Madi, my in-laws, my beautiful wife and boys, and everyone who supported me in-person or online. I’m incredibly fortunate to have you all in my corner.

A special thank you to @muusamir for taking me under his wing just under 4 weeks out. After self-coaching for over 12 years, putting my trust in someone else to handle my prep was a big change, but one I’m glad I made. I’ve learned so much in such a short time and have tremendous respect for his knowledge, care, and passion for bodybuilding.

As for what’s next, the pursuit of that elusive IFBB Pro Card continues. Whether I compete next year or four years from now, I’ll never stop chasing it. I have an exciting project in the works that will require a lot of my time and energy, while growing @DIYBODY alongside an incredible team, and most importantly, being more present with my family.

I’ll continue training hard whether there’s a show or not, and whenever I decide to step on that stage again, you better believe it’s going to be lights out! 😈🔥

FINALLY GOT MY WISH AND WENT TO HAWAII

first few days were of course focused on the competition

Couldn’t have done this without the coach @adam_aesthetics_ifbbpro and back up coach @luucid_bruce

The day after the show started off with a bang by skydiving @gojump_hawaii

Can’t do a Hawaii trip without going to the beach

Apparently this night happened.. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Koko head trail was a giant stairmaster but the view was killer

Watch the sunrise at the beach

And of course more beach shenanigans

Gotta see all of Hawaii not just the beaches so into the jungle we went

We clean up really nicely

Then it’s right back to shirts off and Poké

What a show!!!

Client and one of my good friends, @bwafflefit :

🥈 2nd in Classic Physique Short
🥉 3rd in Men’s Physique Short
🏆 Best Poser Award

And qualified for the WNBF Canada National Natural Pro Qualifier Amateur Show.

First of all, thank you for trusting @mbr__performance and me to coach you through this prep. It was an honour to be part of the journey.

Brian has competed twice before this, and conditioning had always been the thing holding him back. This prep, we made it our mission to change that.

What makes this result special isn’t the trophies or placings. It’s what they represent. Months of sacrifice, consistency, and commitment to the process. There were days where Brian was working a sedentary job, eating 1,600 calories, training, and still getting 25,000 steps done. No shortcuts, no excuses, just showing up and executing day after day.

One of the things I love most about bodybuilding is that you can’t buy success. The stage doesn’t care how much money you have, what car you drive, or what excuses you make. Your physique is a reflection of the work you’ve put in when nobody was watching. Every meal, every training session, every step, and every hard decision eventually shows under the lights.

This result is a reflection of what can happen when you commit to the process, trust and choose good people around you, and have faith in God’s plan. The placings are great, but they’re simply the byproduct of months of doing the right things day after day. This was earned long before he ever stepped on stage.

Proud of you brother, all of your success was earned.
