📣 Actors are not volunteers in a billion-rand industry — we are professionals who deserve royalty payments for our work!

📍Today at Constitution Hill, SAGA stood firm:
🎬 We control our image.
💰 We demand fair royalties.
🗣️ We will not be silenced.

To @presidencyza #SignTheBills.
To our fellow performers: Your voice matters — join us and be part of history.🎭

“ Life beats down and crushes our souls and theatre reminds us that we have one. At least the type of theatre that I'm interested in; that is, theatre that moves an audience. You have the opportunity to literally impact the lives of people if they work on material that has integrity. But today, most actors simply want to be famous. “ - Sanford Meisner

I can’t tell you what day this was, but I remember the moment. I looked out and I thought a day well spent. True to the things I hope to achieve, and true to the vision of life, all things have an end and a beginning
