I had the most wonderful time last week on my mini tour of West Didsbury, Manchester, playing my songs on the harp for the first time!

Much to say, and some vids to follow, but it was very special to be around such lovely and talented musicians, and, of course, collaborate with the glorious @lady.haze. Here we are at @saison_open_mic, (I think my favourite of the three).

🥂🍾 HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉🐢

Wishing each and every one of you a Happy New Year. Thank you so much for visiting us throughout 2025! You ain’t just keeping us afloat, but you’re enriching us, every single time you come through for a coffee and a chat. Here’s some cute memories from the second half of this year, full of great people. Thanks for following us on our evolution as a coffee shop, for nominating and voting us in crazy big awards categories and for just believing in SMP all the time. Thank you to my wonderful team, can’t wait to hang out with you all again in 2026. We got some very fun shit planned so stay with us on this journey. Love you all tonnes ❤️

See everyone in Withy from 8am on January 2nd, at which point we’re back to our regular scheduling. Have a great night tonight whatever you do and don’t feel obliged to go out and party or make huge resolutions you’ll never keep ;) Just keep it real, keep it manageable and keep it kind x

🎷🎅🏽🎄⭐️❄️🕊️⛪️🥁🎺THIS FRIDAY!!

A Christmas celebration for the community we love so much. @tedbranson.y and his legendary talented jazz quartet are back to help us play in Santa. We’ve been so excited to announce this one and thanks to @lydwak for another beautiful poster design. Class this as our BIG end of year send off party. It’s gonna be such a special evening and our way of saying thank you to all the residents, locals and regular faces that we adore so much. We’ll have mulled wine aplenty, boozy hot drinks, cocktails, wine, beer and pizza. Honestly just counting down the sleeps until this one :) See you Friday ✌🏽xx

Exactly a year ago, I handed in my MSc dissertation (thank you Hazel for reminding me/embarrassed that I’m still telling people I’ve “just finished a master’s” when they ask what I’ve been up to). I’ve been meaning to say something about it for ages but now I’ve got around to saying it, all the words have left my head. Hopefully not the knowledge though.

1 The bark of an old olive tree / one of my favourite corners of @edenprojectcornwall
2 First day on campus
3-4 Front page/diss. excerpt, sticky dot data points
5 Big Hat
6 Eden biomes
7 A dam at the Cornwall Beaver Project @woodlandvalleyfarm_events
8 The Holme Fen post (measuring peat shrinkage/marking the lowest point below sea level in the UK)
9 Little crispy tins in the Cornish sea with @lady.haze after the summer writing retreat

A truly special time + I’m blessed to have Mastered Science (AMA)

Get ya diaries out, as I’m really happy to announce a couple of shows for November! In Manchester, we’ll be hosting our first full band headliner for a couple of years @lowfourstudio, and the day after I’ll be heading down to London for a more stripped back set.

For both dates, the wonderful @saving.nico.music will be joining, all the way from Antwerp for his first uk live dates!

It would mean a lot to all of us if you could make it down - we’ll have some new songs, new vibes, new instruments and new perspective to bring to the table.

Tickets for Manchester on sale now at the link in my bio! I know everyone loves ultimate flexibility these days, but it really does massively help artists if you are able to buy your tickets in advanced!

Big love

Had the most incredible time @greenmanfest. Reminded me how powerful music is (cried multiple times, hugged many strangers).

@ezracollective , @ibibiosoundmachine, @sampha and @nabihahiqbal my standout sets - THIS COUNTRY WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT DIVERSITY
