Not a Neun Kelche show, but curated by @sdl.lr & @kira.dell for @48stundennk – Check it out! Fiction makes me nauseous @48stundennk Artists: Mina Amiri Kalvøy, Lena Ditte Nissen, Felix Deiters, Agnė Jokšė, Areez Katki, Alexey Kokhanov, Julie Legouz, Melanie Jame Wolf, Mila Panić, Helena Uambembe Fiction Makes Me Nauseous is a project curated by Kira Dell and Laura Seidel at Neukölln Speicher, combining an exhibition with a performance series across the 48 hours of the festival. In collaboration with scenographer Franz Thöricht @jaschaundfranz , spatial setting is created for ten artistic positions that interweave personal narratives, theoretical thinking, and social questions. Increasingly, visual artists are drawing on methods of autotheory, autoethnography, and biomythography to connect personal experience with broader social concerns. Why is social analysis from a first-person perspective relevant – and how is the personal interior entangled with a larger exterior? Autotheoretical modes of storytelling are often met with critical scrutiny, particularly regarding the risk of simplifying complex theoretical discourses. Yet Fiction Makes Me Nauseous asks about the potential of these forms of narration – especially in a present marked by polarization and a diminishing understanding of other lived realities. Following the notion that the personal is political, the stories of intersectional feminisms cannot be conceived without the entanglement of self-inquiry, theory, and social analysis. Venue: Neukölln Speicher, Ziegrastraße 1, 12057 Berlin Opening times: Fri: 7 pm - 12 am Sat: 12 pm - 12 am Sun: 12 pm - 7 pm

𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐬 𝐎𝐬𝐭: »𝐈𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭« 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒘𝒔 🗓️ 𝟴.𝟭𝟭.𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 ⏰ 𝟮𝟮:𝟬𝟬 ⏳𝟲𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗻 🎟️ 𝟭𝟮 | 𝟴 | 𝟱 𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼 [𝗘𝗡] In the Vault, curated by Presentation Club, unlocks an evening of experimental literature and presentation. Inviting writers and artists to share intimate, silly, and early works–»writings you would not usually publish«–think: a live reading of a Notes app, a short story written in primary school, a walkthrough of a past MySpace profile, a love letter, a teenage diary entry, Google Maps reviews… or wherever our memories, dreams and desires may take us.
𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗵𝗮𝘂𝘀 𝗢𝘀𝘁 is part of 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝘀: on the Side-Quest-Stage, following performances on the main stage, five short, performative, musical, and humorous formats invite audiences to stay a bit longer. Artists who usually perform in all kinds of settings — from your landlord’s cellar to the rooftops of Gotham.
_ 🌐 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗵𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗼𝘀𝘁.𝗱𝗲
