Yesterday, we celebrated the 5th Annual Youth Appreciation Event on the Eastside of St. Paul.

Families came together for a day of community, connection, and celebration as we honored our young people and helped them prepare for the upcoming school year. Kids received free haircuts, backpacks, school supplies, hot meals, and more, while community organizations came together to provide valuable resources and support to families.

We’re proud to continue investing in our youth, supporting our families, and creating spaces where every child feels seen, valued, and appreciated.

Here’s to a great school year ahead!

Yesterday was night two of celebrating Christmas in July at Target Field to spread awareness that families need help all year long. It was great connecting with local influencers and supporting The Salvation Army’s Amanda Hines as she raised the American flag before the game.
There’s still time to make twice the impact during Christmas in July. Now through July 31, your donation to The Salvation Army will be matched – doubling your gift to help families in need.
Donate today at SalvationArmyNorth.org.

A night to remember at Target Field.
We had an incredible time celebrating Salvation Army Night with the Minnesota Twins as part of our Christmas in July campaign and sharing the importance of supporting our neighbors in need all year long. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make an impact.
Remember, all donations given through the end of July are being matched, doubling your impact for neighbors who need it most.

We caught up with Minnesota Twins manager @derekshelton17 to talk about The Salvation Army’s Christmas in July campaign and ask why it’s important for people to give year-round. Here’s what he had to say.
You can support Christmas in July by giving a donation at SalvationArmyNorth.org. This month, all gifts will be matched up to $50,000 – allowing your donation to go twice as far.

This past May, we had the opportunity to help bring back Glamorama at the State Theatre and partner with the Children’s Cancer Research Fund to capture the evening’s highlights. Here’s a look back at an unforgettable night.
