Congratulations to the cast, designers, and crew of PERCEPTIONS the 2026 Student Choreography Showcase!!!

Love the questions asked and the creativity that shined.

“Volatility”
The quality or state of being likely to change suddenly, especially by becoming worse

Choreography: Madison Rojas @m_adis0nn
Created in collaboration with the dancers

Costumes: @meghanhealeyscenography
Lighting: Octavio Villena @bardphoenix

Dancers:
🌓Sherly “Morena” Castro @sherlyyylamorena
🌓Jules Martino @julzmartino
🌓Isabella “Isa” Perez @isabellaepz
🌓Nicole Valverde @nicole.vvx

Volatility is a continuation of Madison Rojas’ choreographic work, Hubris. Taking inspiration from the triple mask in Mexican mythology, representing the cycle of life and death, the dance explores the physical and emotional transformation of loss. When two forces are incapable of balance, it causes an inner battle, and an endless cycle of hope and ruin.
