Lea is back! (But very briefly)

She’s currently down in Porangahau, and I’ll be picking her up again on Friday morning before we head back to Napier for Tom’s breathwork together.

She leaves again Sunday morning, so she’s only really around Hawke’s Bay Friday + Saturday.

If you’d love to see Lea while she’s here, come along to @coach.tomas1002 breathwork at @my.secret.garden.nz on Friday 🤍

There's something truly special about the Hawke's Bay Yoga Festival. It's a gathering of people from all walks of life, coming together to connect, move, learn, and be inspired by an incredible collective of teachers and facilitators from New Zealand and around the world.
This year, we're delighted to welcome Michelle Sankey and Marina Inés Ficco to our festival community.

🌟 Marina Inés Ficco is a Vinyasa Yoga teacher from Argentina with a deep passion for the art of movement and mindful breathing. Her classes harmonise breath with movement in a dynamic flow that builds strength, improves flexibility, and cultivates a calm, focused mind.
At the festival, Marina will lead an energising Vinyasa Flow designed for students with some yoga experience. Through intentional movement and the transformative power of pranayama, participants will deepen their connection to themselves before settling into a gentle guided meditation, leaving them feeling grounded, open-hearted, and renewed.
Whether you're discovering something new, reconnecting with your practice, or simply enjoying the beautiful sense of community that makes this festival so special, we can't wait to welcome you.

✨ Michelle Sankey is the owner of My Secret Garden Studio in Onekawa and a passionate lifelong student of the mind, body, and breath connection. With over 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training in Bikram Hot Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Nidra, along with studies in Pranayama, Herbal Medicine, Cacao Facilitation, and Kung Fu, Michelle brings a rich depth of knowledge and experience to her teaching.
A herbalist, poet, and experienced facilitator, Michelle lovingly weaves together yoga, breathwork, meditation, sound, cacao, movement, and ceremony to create spaces for healing, rest, and transformation. Returning for her third Hawke's Bay Yoga Festival, she'll guide you through your practice once again.

Come as you are. Leave feeling connected.

Christmas 2025 🎄
This Christmas was spent at Sue and Craig’s with me, Arlo, Bailey, Corby, Kerry, Curt, Eve and it was just lovely.
We finally got to meet Curt's partner Eve , who came over with Curt from Taiwan for Christmas, and she is just so beautiful. The boys love her, I love her, I think we all love Eve, it was really special having her here.
Fanrastic food (thank you so much Sue and Craig), excellent company, lots of laughs and heaps of losing card games to @woguuee or @moshi902 😂

We said goodbye to Eve today, which was super sad 😔
We will see you again soon!
It was a beautiful Christmas and I’m really grateful for it all! Grateful for all the beautiful humans in my life. Love you all. 🤍

Rainbow tribe gathering 2025 🌈

Just a bunch of free souls having fun amongst the forest and natural hot pools at the base of Rainbow Mountain! Bliss!

I taught a Hatha to Yin to Nidra hour........a first for me.

I wildly danced to tribal drumming.

I randomly sang a Wittney Houston sing with Matiu hahaha

I had sooooo many beautiful DEEP and important (to me) conversations with so many beautiful souls.

I joined in a drumming circle.

I layed in the grass, sunshine on my bare skin and the freshest air in my lungs.

I ate SO WELL.

Thank you so much everyone who made this all possible by doing their part.

And especially thank you to Ali AKA Mumma rainbow........we wouldn't have this without you! Thank you! 🌈 ❤️

Mothers Day 2025 - started with a sleepy-eyed Arlo running into my bed to give me fully bodied cuddles, then Bailey came through with my favorite flowers (daffodils) ........potted not picked (he knows me so well) and a beautiful homemade card (I have 2 sons so the picture was of 3 gruesome monsters attacking each other......no butterflies and love hearts here).
Then we had a little road trip to visit Grandma and Poppa to give Grandma her presents and cards (more gruesome monsters). And the boys gave me even more presents! Then Sue made us all a delicious lunch, we had the best day!

And I topped it off by doing something for myself (a 90-minute Bikram class at @yippieyopiyogastudio)

I feel so loved, but I do every day!

I am so grateful for my boys and Instagram doesn't give me enough room to list all the reasons why!
But "mum" is my favorite name that only two humans on earth get to call me!
I love you, I love you, I love you...........happy Mother's Day to me!

And happy Mother's Day to my mum as well (even though we celebrate England's Mother's Day in March) ❤️ I love you ❤️

SUPER excited for this!
This Saturday, 8th March, I have the absolute honour of teaching the 8am, 60 minute hot yoga class at Breathe Yoga Studio in Albany, Auckland.

Breathe is co-owned by my beautiful friend Taane and his wonderful business partner Freya.
Taane and I did our Original Hot Yoga Teacher Training together exactly two years ago, and our group of teachers are having a special reunion this weekend!

While I’m in Auckland, I couldn’t pass up the chance to teach at Taane’s gorgeous studio ~ and I’d love for you to join us!

If you’re in Auckland this Saturday, come sweat, stretch, and meditate with us at Breathe.

See you on the mat! ❤️🔥🙏
