Brands need to stop using AI for graphics and video — it shows. The plastic faces, the fake emotions, the “perfect” visuals with zero soul. Executives love it because it’s faster and cheaper. But here’s the truth: AI only feels like progress to the people who don’t build the brand. Because the moment your audience stops trusting what they see…the moment your content all starts looking the same…you’re not saving money — you’re losing advocates. And rebuilding trust isn’t efficient. It’s expensive. And slow. AI has its place, but not at the cost of human creativity. People don’t want machine-made perfection. They want authenticity. We explain more in our blog - Link in bio

Cyber Monday has become exhausting. The recycled “deals,” the fake countdown timers, the magically inflated original prices that never actually existed… Consumers aren’t falling for it. And you know why? Because we’re all consumers. Even the marketing teams creating these “urgent last-chance biggest-sale-ever-no-really” campaigns. So here’s the real question no one wants to ask: If we’re all frustrated by these tactics, why are so many brands still willing to be dishonest? Why are we normalizing marketing strategies we ourselves hate as shoppers? At sōsh, our why is simple: We believe brands grow by building meaningful connections. And connection starts with honesty — not manipulation. That’s why we appreciate clients like Flitz Metal Polish, who ran actual Black Friday deals and different Cyber Monday deals. Not copy-paste discounts. Not manufactured urgency. Just real value. If you’re building a brand for the long haul — one rooted in trust, transparency, and genuine connection — then we’re already aligned. Let’s build the kind of marketing people don’t roll their eyes at. The kind that earns loyalty. Let’s build something meaningful together.

I have a very rare and complex heart condition… 8 years ago, I noticed that I could feel my heart pounding constantly. My heart rate would be in the low 100s while I was resting and jumped up so easily. A cardiologist did a 24hr heart monitor which showed no abnormal heart rhythm, so he sent me on my way. I tried to ignore my heart until 2022, when I fell in love with long distance running. I would go for slow runs but my HR would still reach the 200s within a few minutes. I pushed myself until I was barely breathing and forced to stop, which was less than a mile in. A cardiologist in NYC ran a bunch of tests, where my heart rate went up to 260bpm in a normal sinus rhythm. Still, the doctor sent me on my way with no answers. My condition progressed, so in 2023 I found another doctor in NYC who couldn’t quite make a diagnosis but knew something was off. I trialed countless medications to slow my heart, but nothing worked. He eventually recommended I just stop running, which was devastating to me. In 2024, I saw yet another doctor. He did more tests, finally diagnosing a rare condition called Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia, or “Sinus Node Dysfunction.” With IST, my heart beats in a normal sinus rhythm, but its brain tells it to beat way too fast. I ran a marathon with a HR of 215, which still required frequent breaks. After more failed medication trials, we decided I would have surgery to burn lesions onto my heart and try to reset its “brain.” I had to be partially awake so they could study my heart’s electrical system. They were able to burn 2 spots on the inside on my heart, but couldn’t reach a 3rd on the outside of my heart. 2.5 weeks post op, my heart rate was 130 while laying down and I couldn’t stand up without feeling faint. I went to the ER at Lenox Hill in NYC, where I was admitted for 5 days! Despite an amazing team, we can’t quite figure out what’s going on yet. I have been so lucky to have the best care team and support system on my side. 8 years of battling my heart and fighting to continue doing the things I love, and I won’t stop now.
