Visual identity for the 2026 exhibition programme at Listasafn Árnesinga @laartmuseum_iceland

The visuals come from found elements, sticks, stones, leaves, textures, which were used to create ink compositions. These marks behave more like imprints: traces of contact, pressure, and movement. They resemble maps, or fields shaped by forces rather than designed compositions. Each exhibition approaches questions of power, memory, conflict, identity, and spatial relations, so the aim was not to illustrate the works, but to construct a surface where these ideas could exist.

Observer ⌖ Unmapped

This month we had the chance to develop an installation that looks at digital observation and the relationship between forests and technological development. Screens and plants living in time-lapse come together to reflect how environments today are not only experienced directly, but also observed and researched. The work draws on the ways forests are studied today, how data is used to understand ecosystems and anticipate environmental change.

The installation was created in collaboration with @jolos.agency who invited us to be part of the project. Big thanks for the trust and for bringing us into it. It was presented as part of @istp_summit which brings education ministers, organisations, and experts from around the world to Tallinn to explore how teaching and learning will evolve in the decades ahead.

The plant environment and natural elements were created by @full_of_junk_design giving the space its living texture.

Very happy with how it came together and grateful to have been part of it!

This summer we worked on C400, a newspaper created to mark the 75th anniversary of architectural studies at the Estonian Academy of Arts.

The publication brings together architecture, urbanism, and interior architecture, reflecting the breadth of the faculty today. From research and teaching to practice, student work, and conversations happening across disciplines.

We were responsible for the graphic design of the newspaper, developing the layout, visual system, and overall structure in close collaboration with the editorial team.

“Uneliha” on Marion Saariku isikunäitus, mis koosneb erimõõtmelistest mustvalgetest maalidest ja installatsioonist.

Näitus avatakse kolmapäeval, 17. septembril kell 17:00 Pärnu Linnagalerii Kunstnike Maja projektiruumis. Olete oodatud!

Näituse keskmes on unenäoline rännak. Liikumine läbi alateadvuse tubade ja koridoride, kus keha ja vaim ekslevad, tantsivad, uitavad. Kohas, kus kihid korduvad ning ruumisus ja ruumitus vahelduvad. See on uitamine, mis ei püsi ühelgi pinnal, vaid libiseb pidevalt järgmisesse kihti, uude ruumi, uude kehasse.

“Uneliha” tähistab midagi ambivalentset – keha, mis kuulub unenäole, ja und, mis võtab endale keha. See võib olla habras kest, mis end avab või paks varjukiht, mis katab hinge. See võib olla ihade ja hirmude nähtavaks saanud vaim, mis hetkeks kehastub, et siis kohe uuesti hajuda.

“Dreamflesh” is Marion Saarik’s solo exhibition that consists of different size paintings and an installation.

The exhibition will be opened on Wednesday, September 17th 5:00 PM at Pärnu City Gallery Artists’ House project space. You are welcome to attend!

The exhibition centers around a dreamlike journey. Moving through rooms and corridors of the subconsciousness where the body and mind wander, dance, roam. In a place where layers recur, spatiality and spacelessness alternate. It is a rove that never stays on one surface but slides onto the next layer, new room, new body.

“Dreamflesh” signifies something ambivalent – a body that belongs to the dream and a dream that takes ahold of the body. It can be a delicate shell that opens up or a thick coat of shadow that shrouds your soul. It may be the spirit of desires and fears that incarnates for a second, only to fade away again.

Emissaries / Wind & Water – Two talks and two screenings!
17.06.2025, 17:00, TASE exhibition, Rävala pst 8

Rasmus Einman and Markus Laanisto will talk about their thesis and screen two movies in dialogue with their thesis. The movies are Emissaries from 1974 (with English subtitles) on smuggling and Water & Wind by Nobuhiro Aihara that illustrate time through rythm and texture. Everyone welcome!

Both thesis books can be purchased at the event.
