“MOVE TO FEEL” was the workshop of my own inner-kid’s dreams!

🤸🏽‍♀️🪄The energy Carrie and her dearest ones have cultivated in the @templeofdance space is JOYFUL! You just want to move like a kid, totally free and unbound. Thank you for this space!

🗝️🧬Nina’s contagious laughter and deep knowledge of Somatic Anatomy set up the confident foundation for us to flow through the 8 child developmental movement patterns.

🪩🪞When Maree introduced the GAGA movement language, the creature in us was FREED! In all directions, we danced, played and smiled with ourselves and one another ☺️

🔮✨The energy was palpable, renewed and so playful. We closed the container with a talk on how to apply movement and breath to real-life aggravations & communication ruptures. We ended with a somatic unburdening visualization with a lemongrass infused Shavasana (resting pose).

And yes, we’ll offer this workshop again. It’s one I don’t even want to miss!!

Thank you to our MOVERS! Without you, this experience wouldn’t have had a pulse. You brought LIFE and ANIMATION to the story our bodies told.

Thank you to our NURTURERS! Our dearest friends and supporters that cheer us teachers/facilitators on to keep opening doors for love and healing to conspire.

Thank you to US! The host and teachers that made the time, energy, effort and commitment. The work we are doing is so necessary + appreciated 🤍

Big, real, authentic smiles,
Katt 😍😄🤸🏽‍♀️✨🧬🩵💫🧬

Gaga/people with @ma_ma_lia
Friday, August 11th
6-7pm

We are thrilled to have Maree back in town teaching Gaga/people at Flux Flow! Her teaching is kind and generous and we’re fortunate to have such experienced Gaga teacher passing through Columbus.

New to Gaga?
The Gaga movement language originated from the belief in the healing, dynamic, ever-changing power of movement. It provides a framework for discovering and strengthening your body and adding flexibility, stamina, and agility while lightening the senses and imagination. Gaga/people classes offer a framework for users to connect to their bodies and imaginations, experience physical sensations, improve their flexibility and stamina, exercise their agility and explosive power, and enjoy the pleasure of movement in a welcoming, accepting atmosphere.Throughout the class, participants are guided by a series of evocative instructions deployed to increase awareness of and further amplify sensation. Rather than turning from one prompt to another, information is layered, building into a multisensory, physically challenging experience.

Cost: $20
