A very special night for @delmagueymezcal . 🏆🌿

Del Maguey Tobalá has been named the 2026 Mezcal Trophy winner at the @intspiritschal , following a Double Gold in this year’s judging.

I was lucky enough to be there in London to see the trophy collected — but the real story is thousands of miles away in Santa María Albarradas, Oaxaca.

This is where maestro palenquero Rogelio Martínez Cruz produces Tobalá, working with one of mezcal’s most prized wild agaves and an extraordinary process that includes a roast lasting around 30 days.

Awards like this are brilliant recognition for the liquid, but more importantly for the people, knowledge and generations of craft behind every bottle.

Swipe → to meet Rogelio, the man behind Del Maguey Tobalá.

My dear London our time has come to an end.

You've brought me literally on top of the world and gave me so much but is time for a change.

My last shift behind @sidehustlelondon will be Friday the 20th of March.

Can't wait to see what the future has for me but, sharing it with @mathilde.rge It's already an amazing thing.

Ricard and sunshine are waiting 🌞

Thanks to everyone has been part of this incredible journey ❤️

Salut
Alberto
