SHARE THE LOVE SATURDAY IS BACK!

It's been a little while since I've done one of these, but I think it's time to bring back one of my favourite things about this little corner of the internet: celebrating the wonderful people who make it feel like home.

When I first started sharing my love for books here, I never imagined how many beautiful connections would come from it. Somewhere between endless conversations about fictional characters, exchanging recommendations, laughing over our questionable reading decisions and occasionally having our hearts broken by authors, I found something I wasn't necessarily looking for. Friendship. 🥹

And while books may have brought us together, they've become only a small part of why these people mean so much to me.

Some have been here for a long time, others came into my life more recently. Some I've had the absolute pleasure of meeting in person, while others are still separated from me by screens and miles. But every single one of them has made this journey a little brighter.

So today, I'm celebrating five wonderful souls who deserve all the love and appreciation in the world. 🤎

✨ @mischareads_

Thank you for the conversations, the laughter, the kindness, the encouragement and, most importantly, for being exactly who you are.

Bookstagram can sometimes feel like a whirlwind of numbers, algorithms and expectations, but people like you remind me why I fell in love with this community in the first place.

And to everyone reading this, let's spread a little love today! 🫶🏻

Tag someone who has made your Bookstagram experience special, someone whose posts make you smile, or simply someone who deserves a little extra appreciation.

Because a little kindness goes a long way, and there's always room for more love in this community. 🍁🤎

Happy Share the Love Saturday!

Eye colour stack 👁️🤎

Thank you @the_enchanted_oak_and_moon for the tag!

Turns out a brown stack is actually pretty cute 🤎😂

I’ve tagged a few of you to give this one a go. As always, no pressure! 📚🤎

🌸 Pink Stack 🌸

Sweet @cillebooklove tagged me in this back in April, I love these challenges even when it takes me forever to do them 😅🤩.
Of course they are all romance reads and I still need to read:

Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute
Secretly Yours
Bridesmaid for Hire

Have you read some of these books? 🌟

Blueberry, lemon and strawberry stack 🍓🍋🫐
Thank you for the tag @_readwithnicole — I love these challenges, so keep tagging me 😬
I’ve tagged a few of you, but no pressure 🙂
Also, I’ve just finished my book, written my review, and now I’m going to spend the rest of the day staring into space 😂
Hope you’re all good!

Coffee stack ☕️!

Are you a coffee or tea person? Do you have a specific one you prefer? @damienmortimore tagged me for this stack and I can finally join in when it comes to coffee, because last summer I fell in love with iced coffee 🤩!

I have never really been a tea person and I’m still not a fan of hot coffee, but serve it to me cold or in a dessert and I will gladly eat or drink it🌟.

😜🏁 Emotions Book Challenge 🏁😜

Yes, I'm at it again. But! Well, I have nothing 🤣 I just can't turn down a good challenge. I saw @mildlyunfiltered do this a while ago and here we are.

I've tagged some y'all, but no pressure to jump on this emotional rollercoaster haha. I'd love to see everyone's versions, tagged or not!

I'm so happy it's sunny outside even if it's still freezing cold. I hope y'all are having a sunny Wednesday too! 🫶🏼

QOTD: Do you often get emotional when reading?

I regret to inform you… my friends are cooler than me.

Like actually. Better taste in books, better opinions, funnier captions, and somehow they all have their lives together?? Suspicious.

I’m basically just your warm-up act. The opening credits. The free sample at Costco.

Anyway, go follow them so you can experience the main characters.

I’ll be here… supporting from the sidelines.

I was tagged in December by sweet @cillebooklove to do the Pink & Purple stack 🩷💜

I love these challenges but I somehow never got to it - but better late than never 😁.
It’s again the perfect colours to get in the mood for spring 🌸.

I’ve tagged some lovely people but feel free to join the fun!

Thank you so much for the tag! @giulzontheread 🖤
My word was dragon, and I honestly love these challenges they’re always so much fun. I didn’t think I’d have the books to match, but somehow I always end up surprising myself 📚✨
I’ve tagged a few of you, your word is 🌫️Shadow🌫️ if I’ve forgot anyone or you want to have a go, consider yourself tagged!

Currently on holiday and wondering how I’m meant to leave this sunshine behind ☀️😌
Until then, here’s a beach-coloured book stack to match the view 🌊📚
I’ve tagged a few of you to create a book stack inspired by your weather whatever it looks like right now!

🥞💞 Breakfast Book Challenge 💞🥞

This challenge was fun and actually a little bit challenging 🫣😜 But it centered around two of my favourite things, books and breakfast so it absolutely had to be done! Thank you @mildlyunfiltered for the tag! 🫶🏼

I've tagged a few long-suffering booksta friends again 🤣 but anyone feel free to join in! 🙌🏼

QOTD: What is your favourite breakfast?

Mine would have to be either a full English breakfast or Jamaican brekkie with ackee & saltfish, callaloo, fried plantain and fried dumplings or cornmeal porridge and banana fritters!

26 books to read in 2026!

I am a bit late to the game, as January has already passed, but here are 26 books that I would like to read this year 🌟. Many of them are big, so I might be a little optimistic when it comes to actually being able to read them all 😅. But want to try!

I’m curious, which books to do you want to read this year?
I’ve tagged some lovely people to join the fun, but feel free to join anyway 😊.
