Ever notice how red flags don’t look red… when you really care about someone?

I just wrote my first Substack article about “rose-colored glasses” — not just in relationships, but how they can actually help you survive hard seasons… and when they start working against you.

It’s about:
🌹 seeing the good without losing yourself
🌹 trusting your intuition again
🌹 knowing when something is no longer aligned

If you’ve ever stayed too long, second-guessed yourself, or tried to “make it make sense”… this is for you.

We found a friendly dog at McKenna Park around 10:20 PM. He has no tags and seems to be missing his family. If this is your furry friend or you know who he belongs to, please reach out!

Let’s reunite this lovable pup with their owner. Please share to spread the word and help bring this dog home. 🐶❤️

🎉🌧️ **Update for Today’s Block Party** 🌬️🎶

Hey everyone! Due to high winds and heavy rain, we’re moving the block to a different day. Safety is always a top priority, and with gusts between 28 - 37 mph this morning, we want to ensure everyone stays safe.

I’m excited to plan something creative, collaborative, and cool for our community indoors this winter or in spring/summer 2026. Stay tuned! 📅✨

In the meantime, I’ll be playing and recording some tunes inside today. 🎵🎤 Keep an eye out for some music coming your way soon!

✨Calling all people with family coming to visit Portland for Thanksgiving! This could be a great mutual benefit situation✨

🌟 Seeking a Loving Dog/House Sitter for November 21 - December 5 🌟

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a responsible and caring dog/house sitter for my sweet angel boy, Finley, from November 21 through December 5. 🐶 He’s an 11-year-old Aussie doodle and the ultimate sweetheart.

🏠 About the House:
- Spacious 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home
- Fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials
- Convenient location between two grocery stores, just a block away
- 2 large bedrooms available for the duration.

🐾 About Finley:
- Chill and easygoing
- Can be left alone for up to 8 hours
- Loves company, so I need someone to stay overnight with him
- Enjoys 1-2 walks a day, and there’s a cute park just two blocks away

If you’re a dog lover who can commit to giving Finley the care and attention he deserves during these dates, please reach out! 🐾💖

🌟✨ Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with the amazing Heather Effie at Humble House Radio!

🎙️ We dove deep into some of the most important topics close to my heart: Nook Safe Space, our mission to create inclusive environments, the vital discussions around mental health, and the ever-evolving journey of being a DJ.

🎧💪 We also tackled the crucial topic of harm reduction, emphasizing the importance of safety and support in our communities.

💬❤️ I’m so grateful for the chance to share my experiences and insights. Stay tuned for the full interview where we break down barriers and spread awareness together! 🗨️💖

Just a non-binary girl person and her best furry friend😌 happy pride to all🏳️‍🌈 We will make it through this dark time together.

Freedom to be yourself, freedom of expression, freedom of speech is all certainly under attack lately. A US senator was thrown on the floor and cuffed yesterday for asking questions. This is not normal. This is not okay.

We must stay curious. We must channel our rage, grief, and sorrow into creative outlets when the time is right. Be gentle to yourself as we navigate this unprecedented time. 🫶🏳️‍⚧️🫶
