We carry to protect what we love. We vote for the same reasons! I. Light of the violence and unrest we see around the world, it highlights the importance of the 2nd Amendment and that elections have consequences.

Encourage your friends, family and neighbors to vote on November 3rd!

If you are a single issue voter (2A) you have to be happy with the direction of our issue! Let’s keep it going!!

**WARNING FOR FREDERICK**

You know we never shy away from speaking our minds about 2A. This is no different. A vote for Karl Bickel is a vote I truly believe will make Frederick dangerous. This isnt even regarding policy (which matters greatly and this is not an endorsement of his policy) but it is his very character that will make our beloved town dangerous.

We know that our industry is a politically charged one. But we are proud to be in this industry because we believe in it. When the ATF CHANGED a rule and tried to retroactively apply it, we did NOT back down or cower in fear, even when offered the sweetest plea. We stand on truth COME WHAT MAY and we put our money where our mouth is. Rather than lie and take a plea, we endured a week long federal trial and heard the JURY say NOT GUILTY.

Karl Bickel is so blinded by his hatred of our current sheriff that he has made a photo of TMGN owner Rob Krop (my husband) as his background photo. WEIRD. BIZARRE. Many times I offered to meet with Bickel and his campaign, letting him know that he is either unintentionally misrepresenting what happened or outright lying. I said he can name the time, place, he can livestream it, and bring whoever he pleases and ask any questions his heart desires. We have nothing to hide. Rather than accept this offer to pursue truth, Bickel has BLOCKED us!

A man whose character is defined by petty, vindictive muckraking has no business seeking the honorable position of Sheriff. You would be better voting for a potato than Karl Bickel.

We are no strangers to trolls, but when a candidate for sheriff of the town you live in makes your husband his background photo, you cant help but wonder if he's the type to show up at your house to steal his hair and make a voodoo doll of him or some other bizarre thing. It is unhinged behavior, period!

Just got out of court. We are happy to be serving as plaintiffs with Duffy v Moore which had been enjoined with Bathras v Moore regarding the Glock ban.

Our motion today was asking for a preliminary injunction and was DENIED.

First trip to D.C. in the books!

Came for the @womenforgunrights National Summit gala and rally on Capitol Hill & squeezed in as much of D.C. as I possibly could in between. It was a whirlwind of a weekend!

I’m coming home tired, grateful, inspired & you know I have a camera roll full of memories. So thankful for the opportunity to be part of it, connect with women from across the country, and even share a few words of my own

36 hours & one unforgettable first trip!

Room full of fierce women, endless inspiration, and an unforgettable night in D.C. 🇺🇸✨

Kicking off the Women for Gun Rights National Summit at the opening gala set the tone for everything that followed. Standing in a room filled with dedicated women from across the nation, all united by a shared passion for protecting our freedoms, was nothing short of inspiring.

Hearing powerful words from Mark Geist reminded me why this work matters so much. When women lock arms for a cause we believe in, real impact happens.

This was just night one. I can’t wait to share the rest of what we accomplished on the Hill! 💪🏛️

What a great night at the @womenforgunrights @womenforgunsafety gala last night in our nations capital! I got to spend the evening and continuing into next week with some of my favorite content creators, as well as meet all the women who are making a difference when it comes to fighting for our gun rights. It’s been motivational thus far and I’m honored to be surrounded by all of these amazing people..

For Labor Day, our VP Blake and new member Grace volunteered for @dancox4maryland at the Prince George’s county parade. We also attended Dan’s town hall to meet with swing voters and showed our support. Of course we’ve also been tabling, recruiting new members and having great conversations! We hit the ground running this year and are full steam ahead working to get Republican candidates elected! #maryland #politcs #republican #conservative #collegerepublicans

A busy week for UMDCR!

On Monday, Blake, Saara, Ava, Hannah, Jeff and Connor attended Golden Age in DC. We had a great and thrilling time. Certainly one for the ages and it was great to see everybody!
On Tuesday, Blake, Saara, and Zack attended multiple National night outs through out Maryland to help out Dan Cox and the team campaign. We had a great time! Thank you to Dan Cox for including us on the team!
On Friday, Blake and Saara drove to Anne Arundel county to help Jessica Haire campaign at the annual Crab Feast at Navy stadium in Annapolis. We had a great time and many different conversations. It was nice to see a different side of campaigning/politics. We even met a K-9! Thank you so much to Jessica for inviting us out to help!
On Saturday, Blake and Zack did some door knocking for some local candidates all morning in Anne Arundel county. Then Saara, Blake, and Zack attended Dan Cox’s Under the Tent event. We had an absolutely wonderful evening talking to people, hearing Dan speak, and hearing from voters on there big concerns. We personally would like to thank Dan, Patience, and Rob for inviting us and including us in your families. UMDCR is honored to be able to help out the campaign. Special thanks to Zack for working full time for Dan and getting him elected as our next Maryland Governor!

UMDCR is hard at work helping our TRUE Republican candidates get elected in November. We would also like to thank the MDGOP and MD Republican candidates for the continued support for UMDCR and we are happy to help anyway we can. As the flagship chapter in MD, it is our duty and obligation to help out Republican candidates get elected.

Stay tuned for this semester as we have massive things planned and enjoy the rest of summer everyone!

This is probably gonna be a little controversial. What does everyone consider to be best practice with the round that you eject from the chamber every time you put your firearm away?
Do you run that round like any other round? Do you refuse to carry it once it becomes evident that the projectile has been pressed too far into the casing by repeated chambering?
Do you regard this as a potential feeding hazard only, or as a potential “over pressure” issue?
Have you ever had a malfunction with one of these rounds?
My personal practice is to eject the chambered around every time I come home and put my pistol away, then replace that round into the top of the magazine when I secure the firearm. This is not an assertion that one method is superior to another, simply my personal practice.
When that round becomes visibly compressed, I typically take it out of circulation and replace it with a fresh one. Up to a point, I will chamber that “short” round before leaving the house, with a full magazine of “fresh” rounds beneath it.
Thus far, I have yet to experience any issues by saving up these compressed rounds and running them through as a full or partial magazine on the range for testing purposes. That said, I’m reluctant to trust those to a situation where it absolutely positively must work flawlessly….

Sound off in the comments— what is everyone’s practice, and what malfunctions have you experienced if you have run these rounds in training?
