I grew up in a very comfortable family. My parents were upper middle class and my grandparents were millionaires and I used to think being “rich” meant having more. More money. More success. More things to show for all the work, but the older I get, the more I realize how wealthy I already am. I’m rich in family. Rich in friendships. Rich in people who trust me. Rich in experiences I once prayed for. Rich in laughter. Rich in lessons. Rich in grace. And most importantly, rich in a relationship with Jesus. Life has given me plenty of reasons to become harder, colder, or more guarded. Somehow, God has continued to give me even more reasons to be grateful. So yeah… I’m rich. And I pray I never become so focused on what I’m building that I forget to appreciate what I already have. 🤎 What makes you feel rich?
