“The gold road’s sure a long road….Winds on through the hills for 15 days…”

The Stone Roses - Fools Gold at Heaton Park the moment Manchester became the centre of the universe for three nights straight. 75,000 voices singing every word, flares lighting up the sky, that golden haze settling over the park like a Manc sunrise. A city reunited with the band that shaped its heartbeat.

There’s something about this footage that still hits:
the feeling that you’re watching history unfold right in front of you. It was a homecoming. A reminder of why The Stone Roses mean so much to Manchester, to Madchester, to everyone who lived it.

Madchester past, present & future —all alive in the park. The legacy, the love, the noise… still echoing today.

“I wanna, I wanna, I wanna be adored…:”

Hampden Park, 2017 — The Stone Roses proving once again why they’re the blueprint. A stadium shaking, thousands roaring, that unmistakable Mancunian mantra rolling across the night like a prayer for the believers.

Ian. John. Mani. Reni. Four icons. Four corners of the Madchester universe. Decades on, and they still command a crowd like it’s Spike Island ’89 all over again same fire, same swagger, same electricity in the air.

This footage hits different: the scale, the love, the devotion, then sound of a generation echoing into the next.

Madchester past, present & future all alive in one anthem. A hymn for the underground. A chant for the dreamers. A reminder that the spirit never dies… it just gets louder.

What a crowd. What a band. What a moment. Still adored. Always adored. We were there, we’re you?

The Stone Roses Reunion. The Press Conference. The Moment Everything Changed.

The Stone Roses reunion press conference from the Soho Hotel, 18 October 2011. A day burned into Madchester history. A day when the past, present & future of this city’s music stood shoulder to shoulder and said:
We’re back.

The room was electric disbelief, joy, nerves, jokes banter, swagger all mixing into one massive surge of Manc energy. The Roses weren’t just announcing gigs… they were reopening a chapter we thought was closed forever.

Heaton Park. The world tour. The homecoming. A city reunited with its band. A generation given its soundtrack back.

We were there for the reunion were you? We’re still living it. Madchester past, present & future… all connected in that moment at the Soho Hotel.
All still echoing today.
