Today is #nationalrelaxationday, thanks @lindalandpr for reminding me!! So it is the perfect moment to speak to those of you ‘out there’ following me & say H E L L O
.
Somewhat quiet on the airwaves, I have been digesting the enormous global changes we’re all facing. I have been unlearning, educating & resourcing myself for the road before me. I look to be an advocate of warmth, kindness, understanding, knowledge & truth going forward.

🇬🇧Shaded from the blazing sun, peeking out from a blossomy rose aroma peony in full bloom a few weeks ago, when the first big heat day of Summer arrived in Ashburton - was the B O M B 🌸☀️
.
Calling in the W A R M T H once again for the much anticipated visit of Munro’s photographer’s Sister @miss_flossy72 • who is due in The Burton tomorrow • because the sun seems to have popped orrrrff for mini-break ☀️🌸

🇬🇧Munro the #gentlemanpig gazes off into the distance & wonders when the now not so simple pleasure of a day by a 1930s lido with friends lounging together in the sunshine will be possible once again...
.
Tinside Lido is a 1935 Art Deco lido in the city of Plymouth, not so far from the South West Headquarters of the Broadsheet.
.
Renovated & reopened in 2005 it is sited beside #plymouthsound & is overlooked by #plymouthhoe commanding brilliant views for pondering life’s big questions 🕉

🇬🇧🖤 For the #gentlemanpig the beginnings of the enquiry towards the answer to “how can I be of service?” came to Munro like a bolt of lightening in a blue sky⚡️
.
Learning tonight, on an incredibly moving online gathering, that beyond more deeply educating himself, beyond signing petitions, beyond sharing finances with dedicated organisations, beyond committing to peaceful rallying, beyond acknowledging personal responsibility, beyond identifying the social structures that hold back ALL humanity from thriving in wellness, there is HIS voice
.
To firstly engage with his friends & family, no matter wherever he is geographically, socially or economically is to start to unlock & unpack the inbuilt injustices surrounding & infusing his community
.
A H I M S A - do NO harm, but to truly do no (future) harm is to come into dialogue with what has come before, to listen, to lean into the discomfort of privilege he has had wildly laid out for him, to break it down & compassionately be part of construction towards a truly well & whole community
.
Which is why he has started a collective with Luna & Flo Bear. A beginning step. With the aim of being a conscious, conscientious part of the journey OUT of the disparity & disharmonious experiences people continue to have because of the colour of their skin 🖤🐷

#amandasapothecary🐞🐝 .
a compassionate heart : to lead with this, it seems, is the ultimate challenge : in light of recent events & my being a white woman I will have this guidance set as my true north on the compass of what I do, how I act, what I say, what I think, how I educate myself & where I place my faith 🖤
.
in this time of great flux, transition, unrest, poor national & international governmental guidance, a compassionate approach to all our endeavours is THE priority 🖤
.
be the voice of reason - support as much as possible organisations that are aligned with equality, education, enlightenment & encouragement towards peace, prosperity & wellbeing for all 🖤

🇬🇧 Today’s ‘Lockdown Win’ • simplicity itself • floral springtime offerings held in suspension for Autumnal bursts of freshness 🌼🌸🌺
.
Dougal the Apprentice Pig Reporter was utterly delighted to have this assignment with his mentor, Munro the #gentlemanpig, & thanks deeply @charliecc for the inspiration! 🌼🌸🌺
.
The weekly bounty from @thehusbandryschool has been magnificent this last few weeks & we’re all SO grateful here at The Broadsheet to have this home delivered 🌼🌸🌺

🇬🇧It’s Friday night, #lockdown2020 & we are feeling #lighthearted & #irreverent 🍸🍸
.
At #thedailymunro we would not dream of discounting or ignoring the H U G E privilege we have to indulge The Broadsheet’s joy of gin, especially at this somewhat somber moment in time 🍸🍸
.
So with that said we are D E L I G H T E D to share the thrill we had the last time the team had the chance to have a tipple with @miss_flossy72 🍸🍸
.
Generously cracking open a “thank you” bottle from a most grateful collegue the editing team has been lucky enough to discover a most tolerable Gin from the magic makers at #edenmillgin 🍸🍸
.
#thelondonessenceco produces an incredibly pleasing #bitterorangeandelderflowertonic to mix with the #loveedenmillgin & “hey presto” Friday night in #iso seems a whole lot less unpleasant 🍸🍸

🇬🇧 #ashburtondevon became the head office for #thedailymunro through sheer happenstance - or did it...? Is there not a divine order in things when a #gentlemanpig finds oneself in lockdown with one’s Young Pig Apprentice in a town where windows such as these emerge 🔒🔐🔓💕
.
This kind of kindness on display is the key 🔑 to unlocking the bolt on the heart that can hold tight in the name of fear & separateness from the clan - it inspires freedom & lightness of ♥️ despite the circumstances & lets run riot sensations of togetherness, being witnessed & feelings of being beloved 🔒🔐🔓💕
.
All of us here at The Broadsheet are thankful for the the winds of destiny having blown them to the most wondrous town in the confines of #dartmoornationalpark - it’s certainly inhabited by artful, soulful hoomans 🔒🔐🔓💕

I can usually be found working in & gratefully enjoying • London • Devon • Sydney • I am currently in Devon, deeply restricting my movements
.
ॐ
.
The first day in my home, confined, began with bright sunshine streaming in the windows & already I was grateful🏡
.
I sat with a Saraswati chanting & meditation practice gently held by @tanjamickwitz 🌊
.
I taught an online beginners’ yoga class for Grey Matter, @stationyardstudios & wider the Ashburton world🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏽🧘🏾‍♂️
.
I participated in a Wim Hoff breathing gathering offered by @isaacmullinsyoga • this inspired much release of held emotion waiting in the wings of my heart to lift away🌷
.
I sang in my living room with #eliseyuillcohen (swipe right) as she hosted a live online Kirtan • the chant ‘A-hum Prema’ - ‘I am divine love’ • bringing yet more tears of grief for all that’s occurring across the globe 🎶
.
Today distinctly bought home the profound need I had for stopping, feeling in, letting go • And yet also the great desire to stay connected to my tribe, family, friends & clients 🌈
.
I’m sending HUGE LOVE out with a wish for all those reading, tagged or not tagged, that you start to find the rhythms & resources required for this transition into a new way of ‘BE-ing’ 🌀🌱💕

🇬🇧 And so, the humbling nature of traversing the land as an almost solitary soul begins on the brightest of sunny spring days for Munro the #gentlemanpig & his photographer...
.
Homeward bound for #thedailymunro & it’s intrepid news team, no longer reporting live from London, deeply relieved to be able to make the journey at all!
.
Not even 24hrs ago the UK passed, like our European neighbours, into a 3 week social separation, home based protocol to help minimise the impact of the 🦠🦠🦠& we will all be #stayinghome from this evening in #ashburtondevon
.
@miss_flossy72 @nathanmansfield1 @katooshker @janey_f_schmidt_ a special mention to the incredible logistical support team for housing, food supply, kind transport to station, Devon policing updates, safe passage passes offered & transit home from Totnes - making this historic once in a lifetime experience possible!

🇬🇧 The simplicity of urban snowdrops gave the #gentlemanpig cause to pause on his way home this evening... grateful to see the life springing forth behind the bars of a metal fence ⭐️✨
.
He spent a 5 minute breather from the crazy of the day - & happily shares the notion here of taking a mini timeout with the readers of #thedailymunro - nature nurturing at her best!
