$🦴 How a plaster is applied for a broken wrist and hand: 1️⃣ Apply tubigrip and cotton lining 2️⃣ Cut plaster to the length needed 3️⃣ Wet the plaster with water and place it on the patient’s arm 4️⃣ Wrap crepe bandage around 5️⃣ Mould plaster to the best position This plaster was applied for a patient who had a distal radius fracture, 3rd and 4th metacarpal fractures. The plaster immobilised the fractures before surgery. #handtherapyexperts #handtherapy #upperlimbrehab #northshoresydney #orthopaedicsurgery #physiotherapy #distalradiusfracture #radius #metacarpal #ORIF #handsurgery #plasticsurgeon #plaster #wristfracture #handsurgeons #physiotherapy #physiotherapist #handtherapist #cremorne #mosman #neutralbay #crowsnest #northbridge #handtherapyexperts #urgentcare$
